This has had my stomach in knots.

Now LasVegasVehicles.com is UP,Now that site is back up. I havent done anything in my control panel,etc at Hostgator besides Early in I changed the passwords . How is he going in and out Tearing down and now putting it back up?!

Wow, it must keep him busy reading this thread and trying to deal with the stuff that keeps coming out. The list of his sites he has taken down keeps growing.

Great summary there. A while back I did a bullet point summary but since then new stuff has come out...I still think a bullet point summary of topics on the front page of the thread would be a big help to us all, not least of all newbies and journalists.

Could we have that Shane?

Its Still CopyScape Matched on the Rental Cars. 96% match. I have emails from you saying you "Have Guys in the Automotive industry that really know what their Doing" and Screenshots of The Old NicheWebsites I saw,when I purchased. saying Unique Content.

I want nothing to do with Webcorp.ca,Domain Consulting Group,Satans this and that,NicheWebsites,Whatever other Hat you Wear. I requested a refund for this Half As* Nonsense, Please just throw me the refund and let me move on. This isnt a game of Chess @Adam Dicker.

Contact HG asap. They may need to scrub the account, or close it. He could leave files behind that allow access, or have FTP access. The WP site itself may have backdoors.

He might also have access to your personal info and payment info - allowing him to resest passwords or bill you.

HG logs will show who accessed it and from what IP address and whether passwords were changed. If there was an illegal access that is a whole new issue.

Yes it is, but why hasn't he edited them out and made the business look legit? OK now, we can clearly see that now there is a different magnitude of the situation here.

Victims
The majority of victims who were here have disappeared. Assuming their issues have been resolved or they have moved on. For a couple of those who are still here and hitting their heads on the wall, it's easy to assume that they either have a weak refund case, or have no case at all.

Thread Starter
Shane has presumably decided to resolve things quietly to help the victims, and it's a good thing. Keep it up.

Person in Question
Adam has not been participating in the thread most probably because he's busy resolving the issues with the victims or due to the fact that nothing useful has been going on in this thread for the last 30 pages or so.

Fire Fuelers & Hype Creators
Yup, they're still here and still active. Heck now we can easily see that there are more fire fuelers flaming this thread than actual victims discussing their issues. Not saying that the thread should be stopped, but hoping to see members participate only if they have something useful to share with the victims. Repeating the same thing over-and over-and over again ain't gonna help no one.

In the end, it all comes down how the victims were helped for which this thread was actually started.

Well of course he likes it if someone implies Adam is resolving things with victims, when in more than a week none have reported refunds or progress and he has just changed the name he is doing business under and has refused your very justified refund claim.

Your refund case is stronger than ever, just stick to it. The fact DNF has changed whois does not necessarily mean it has changed hands or that he has any money - it could have been co-owned or used as collateral, and there may be large debts - or just a refusal to pay. Assets may get hidden. Meantime he is shutting down more and more of his sites.

The name sold, Mike Berkens verified with the buyer before we posted on DNF. The buyer is not related to Adam Dicker in any way.

Oh, I disagree. Those who feel they've been defrauded should probably call the police. Calling the police opens up a whole new dimension, and commitment by anyone feeling defrauded. Sometimes it takes encouragement to make the call, perhaps feeling embarrassed. Much like abuse victims, making the call isn't always easy, and encouragement seems to help the victim make the call.

If no laws have been broken, the police will advise that.

Yes and even then they also record reports for intelligence purposes, which can find patterns or mean future victim reports are taken far more seriously. Reporting things helps protect others.
