I lost $5805usd through PayPal scam by Shane Bellone

Many of my friend suggested me to post this on namepros so others will less likely to be scamed by shane.

So on 2016-09-26 and 2016-09-27 he bought 374 cvcv.in names and 471 cvcv.in names all together 845 .in names together. (these are random cvcv.in)
together he paid me on paypal 5805 usd.

I pushed the domain to him, then everything is fine. the deal was made through whatsapp chat.
deal closed.
then I saw him selling them on .in markect group, flipped some for higher price.

until 27the decenmber when i log in to my paypal to make another purchase, i see paypal refunded 5805 back to him, then i look up my email, i saw paypal disput which i completed missed.
buyer claim reason: NOT AS DESCRIBED! (this is after he sold and transfer out some of those)

I did not know paypal had this 3 months rules where buyer can claim the money back, and becuase i do not log on paypal so often and get xxx amount of emails every days, so i missed the window that i could have argued with paypal. but well lesson learned.

good news is after I provided all the evidence to the registrar, the registrar moved the remaining (ones he did not sold or transfer out) to my account, so at least i got something back.

Becuareful when using paypal,and becuareful when you trade any domain that was processed by shane.

During the process of getting the unsold domains by shane, I had great help from .in whatsapp group, so special thx who provide information and also special thx to shiva , kemji, alexa and indy who tried to contact shane for me, but he went dark, not picking his cell phone, does not respond back on whatsapp nor linkedin.

I totally agree, but it doesn't mean what the OP saying is all fact either. Its happened before where people have accused people of doing shady things, the other person hasn't responded as they felt it didnt deserve a response and turned out the accuser was in the wrong. I'm not saying thats the case here, but Im just saying you cant make any accurate judgement from hearing one side..that's all

But we are talking about Shane, the king pointer outer of wrong doing right? I can't imagine him not responding through some means if this thread was wrong.

The OP is 1 of only 2 people that know how it unfolded. You cant support someone without knowing the facts, thats just ridiculous. The people supporting him or Shane don't know what happened? how does that work? I could never comment seriously without knowing both sides, you'd be guessing. This can be dangerous on a public forum and seriously damage a person's reputation. I certainly wouldn't expect anyone on here to support me without knowing the facts.

I am the moderator of. IN whatsapp group and also one of the founders of the same group and I am closely aware of this issue other than those two guys buyer and seller ..I have all evidences to prove Shane is at fault. ..you are indeed protecting a wrong doer ...I am talking based on facts ..I have waited for Shane to respond on dispute resolution group for two long weeks... He has not responded in two weeks.. Still you support indirectly to him...shame on you guys who support Shane..spade is a spade..truth hurts.. Truth is Shane at fault..need to accept like a good man and apologise.. No one is perfect..

Not sure but you have probably hit the nail on it's head just from what I've seen..

This sound interesting and also sad. Always ask for a confirmation email from buyer to your PayPal email address to prove that you sell something or services to him/her. This can avoid PayPal dispute.

Bloody hell, this is common sense, just pretend its a court of law for a second, anyone can make a judgement call just because someone posted a list of 45 domains, but there is no proof of what exactly happened, and you know what, you will never know, because if the other party hasnt commented yet, he probably wont

I have never supported Shane, go back at look, I have posted about 5 or 6 times in the whole thread so check your facts. I am neutral here, I really couldn't care less what happens, but dont make a judgement until you know for sure by hearing both sides. If people cant understand this, then Im not sure what else anyone can say.

If it did happen like the OP said, I certainly hope he gets whats owed to him. I will let you all carry this on now
