FYI..I'm very active in Web3 / NFTs all of it..never left the space, never gave up in the bear... I'm constantly in there learning & networking in discords,TW, Spaces, Medium.....& more then I will ever be here ...just due to these type of of comments....

I get it ...it's been a tough year in domains... domainer knocking the niches their pockets are not lined with ....no one ever told you life was all about smoking pot...but you didn't mind filling your bags on the the wave.....brooo come on...

2nd ....I'm with you on the 2nd part Life is about Real Experiences ..100%

BUT best believe ....I'm going to make mine before it all comes...you can't stop the tech....the new tech is gonna impact us all...trust me I love the grass and creeks more than I will ever love a screen or tech, or sitting inside hours a day..I to prefer IRL things and especially outdoors.. this is a means to an ends to " beat the beast" for me.

But at least add something positive of value ...and not like when you fudded Psilo...seen how that turned out.

Refresh your lens bro.....I've learn much from you as well...Use the eye you got and find a way to benefit, regardless of your emotions about the tech.......ps "Ai" is out the bag anyway.. could very well be beginning of the end for many things.

I think i wrote about this before. When i was a kid (in the 90s) i remember my grandparent in a care home, in that home her and other pensioners (who could no long take care of themselves) was just sat in a chair watching TV, was only 4 channels back then to choose from and that's all they did all day, it really stuck with me how bored these people must have been.

I've never been in a care home since then, but I'm sure things will have changed more now with everyone having access to their own personal video shop whenever they like (Netflix)/smartphones/apps and the internet. But this memory always stayed with me about the potential of VR, still giving no longer mobile people be it through age/disability the chance to visit places (virtually) where they haven't been in years or never at all, attend live events etc and meet new friends and build/share memories with other people who are having the same experiences as you.

While emerging niches are very hard to predict.... one thing thing remains certain and that is that we are at the precipice- the beta stage of a massive transition from how we currently consume, interact, procure, produce and deceminate content and information. For those who consider themselves investors on here... it would be ill-advised to dismise a disruption of this magnitude whether you are for it or against it. There's nothing wrong with having one foot in the pool to gauge the water before deciding to jump in it or not.

As I've said before:

The metaverse is still in development, and is in a very early stage, just like their was the video game industry crash in 1983 and everybody thought that video games were just a fad, it completely changed when nintendo nes came a long. Meta/Facebook is just one company trying their best but seem to be failing right now which could change in the future, but this does not mean that because of one company the whole metaverse industry will fail, until there comes a better company with a better/cheaper headset/glasses it can go mainstream just like games are now. The metaverse may take years and years before it will succeed.

Check out this video about the Great Video Game crash of 1983, everybody thought gaming would be a flop, until Nintendo NES came along and changed the game literally.

Agree on this, but the evolution of tech is inevitable to happen, think how we used CRT TV's and monitors, today we use flat panels, in future might be a projection in air, some will upgrade from mobiles to AR/VR/XR glasses.
Anyway you can rest assured that if the normal flow of life is threatened the cleaning will be done and believe me no AI will save anyone.
