This story starts with DNF; a barren wasteland that once was a leading forum within the domain industry. While the forum itself played a huge role in propagating the myth that is Adam Dicker, the story really begins with DNF College in the summer of 2011.

Updates / Reports
These are in no particular order.

From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
In case you haven't noticed. You post links to archived pages selling rape manuals and tools hinting that AD was involved in that shop while the evidence shows that he wasn't.

He still decided to purchase that domain once it dropped and it's not like he was planning to start a support website for rape victims with the domain, considering all the other perverted domains he owns.

Do you really think it's just my own personal speculation and nothing I've posted here holds up to being true or factual? Are you that naive?

I am naive for NOT believing EVERYTHING i read in forums?

Where did i say NOTHING is true? I never said or believed that. I said there is (in my opinion) negative hype and misleading information not that everything posted is false.

I've always had a sixth sense of knowing when someone is human filth. Do you not have intuitive abilities? I believe Adam is much worse than what I've even begun to reveal on here as the holy spirit in me tells me so.

Maybe i am naive or lack the intuition but so far i think i have known very few people who would qualify as human filth if any. (Except some serial killers,, or violent criminals on TV)

I have no idea who Adam really is as i never met him in person or interacted with him in any way. I don't think everything he did was right, some things that he did seem very problematic to me but honestly i am not sure about his motivations or his personality. I have no way of knowing. I think some of his actions might have been greed driven.(pretty common motivation in the domain industry)

He may be a scumbag. Perhaps he is greedy and made some poor decisions or he had some other troubles. Perhaps he has poor judgement or self control. Perhaps there are some other reasons for what happened.

I don't know the whole story. I don't think it's my business to judge. Surely i won't go out and tell the world what a bad husband or father he is based on my personal beliefs. As if i had the right to do so.

So what is the latest on Adam Dicker? Did he pay anybody back? Is he still scamming people?

I don't know the whole story about Charles Manson, but I can tell you I have no problem judging him and keeping him in prison until he dies. No, I'm not comparing Adam Dicker to Charles Manson. I'm saying that at some point, common sense is supposed to take hold and guide our moral compass and help us with our judgement calls. I see no problem judging Adam Dicker on documented history, allegations and his responses to those allegations in this thread, and whatever personal interaction I've experienced. I also have no problem judging various individuals in the domain aftermarket business who remain eerily silent on this issue. It says a lot about them, and what it says is in no way good as far as I'm concerned.

Note how you present your personal speculations or ideas as facts despite knowing little about him or his marriage and/or life. Then is his personal life any of your business?

I just figured out another little tidbit that didn't click when I first discovered it...

ToSluts.com was a Toronto based escort site back when Adam joined it. http://i.imgur.com/yMSBjgv.png

My speculations seems to be holding up just fine.

You might think Ron Jackson, "editor" of DNJournal.com, the self-proclaimed "Domain Industry News Magazine," having been at Namescon and delivering to us all the swell photos of glad-handers kissing each others' asses, would have also covered the same issues as this Namescon participant: http://onlinedomain.com/2016/01/28/news/adam-dicker-owes-a-lot-of-money-to-a-lot-of-people/

Why do you think he's not touching this with a ten foot pole?

Found this video from 2014 where Ron Jackson hypes up Adam and then Adam hypes up himself..

At 3:20 Adam says he owns "12 businesses" that each make over $50,000 per month. That's $600,000 per month! Over 7.2 million per year! Yet...Adam can't seem to pay back people he owes?

Great find. I suspected as much. Well, in my view, this is probably part of the slow process of purging this business of the ethically-challenged players.

That's really embarrassing for Ron Jackson. Makes him look just as stupid as the rest of us who regretfully sent "Google Adam Dicker" any money.

Well, I agree it's probably "embarrassing for Ron Jackson." But Ron Jackson is widely considered an "insider," appearing on convention/conference panels, glad-handing with the muckety-mucks, and spewing arguable hearsay and what he might consider data at us weekly. We're placing this guy on a pedestal and paying homage? For what? For, in your words, looking "just as stupid as the rest of us?" I don't buy it. Enough of Dicker's antics were documented public records to easily make a negative judgement call, as many of us did. I believe Jackson just didn't care enough to adjust his relationship accordingly, and keep us informed like a "news journal" should. Now the chickens have come home to roost. I'm not shedding one tear for the guy.

Well, you know he lurks at Namepros. He chokes us with the weekly barf from DNJournal.com, including auction results from Snapnames. He'd have to be brain dead not to know what's been going on with the Dicker situation, unless he's really not that much "in the know."

From that video, around the 2:15 mark, Ron Jackson says Dicker is so sought after because he has a number of "innovate ways to make money on the internet". That must be the new catchphrase for FRAUD.

It sounds like he is pitching the building lead generating websites, which certainly seems like a good business to be in.

Is it, or has that changed? Or is the only issue being that the websites aren't being built?

I'm not sure but it must be captured in one of the 138 pages this thread has used so far?

Shoot, IMHO he'll probably be given "guest speaker" status, as he has in the past.

If you think others in the industry don't know what's been going on for a long time, you're only fooling yourself. We've been played for fools by the lot of them. They've all had access to the public record showing compromised morals and ethics, but none of them has chosen to voice concern. In fact, some are on the record telling us how wonderful AD has been for this industry. If you want proof of this, take a look at Ron Jackson's DNJournal.com and see if you can find any article or mention of this very current event. I couldn't find anything there. Perhaps others in the industry chose to let people like us get screwed, keeping silent, as long as they could have a shot at a decent domain through any means available.

It's a glad-handing, incestuous business. I've been saying this for a long, long time.

Someone here said this is the tip of the iceberg. He/she was right.

Who can we trust?

Who can we trust?

Well, I'll give you two names to start:
1) John Berryhill
2) Judith Oppenheimer www.judithoppenheimer.com

I know, you've never heard of Judith Oppenheimer. That's probably because, even though she's a true domain name system expert, I've never seen her swim in this toilet we seem to dwell in. Just familiarize yourself with her. She is trustworthy IMHO. If the current crop of fools who fancy themselves convention/conference organizers truly wanted the best and the brightest experts speaking at their events, they'd certainly get her at whatever cost. No, she won't give ego-filled lectures about how to set up pirated-content sites and screw newbies out of money. No, she won't give advice on how to cybersquat or typosquat without getting shut down before making lots of ill-gotten cash. No, she won't tell you how to get a job at a registrar and while you're there, game their auction system to grab prime dropping names for yourself. Anyway, you asked "Who can we trust?" Well, she's one of them.

There are more individuals worthy of our trust. But to think of them on the same stage as Ron Jackson or Adam Dicker is so far out of the realm of possibility in my view, because of the disparate quality of character. It's like the current crop of players and those individuals truly worthy of our trust are from different planets, if not merely from different tribes.

Anyway, I would advise not blindly extending your trust as many of us have in the past. Make them work for it. Make them PROVE they are worthy of it. Don't believe hearsay without proof. Don't believe glowing self-proclamations without understanding what is truly going on behind the scenes.

Oh, and one more thing. I suggest not participating at the conventions and conferences until they clean up their stages, until they banish the parasites and the interviewers of those parasites who hold the parasites in high esteem either because the interviewer is too lazy, not worthy, or embroiled in the shenanigans of the person being interviewed. Let the ethically-challenged sponsors of those events spend money to exhibit there to no crowds, to no gullible newbies, eventually getting the picture that the scam is over, reality has set in, and the gamed system is not longer profitable enough to pay for the tilt-up displays, kiosks, and vanity t-shirts. F-'em.

So joining an escort service means something horrible? It only means he can't get a date.

And?

I have no idea about the status or conditions of his marriage, maybe you do? I know guys who are married, with kids, and their wives couldn't care less if they hire an escort. Then there are those that are married, but separated, or on "a break". I just don't see that his registration on an escort site means anything other than he can't get a date. Do you even know if he actually did more than register? I registered on Ashley Madison because I was curious what all the buzz was about, but I never used their services and my wife knew about it.
