I can confirm that our services are now back online. Our system monitor has reported a total downtime of 8 hours, but we do need to verify this.

Seems about right. From 5am until 2pm I have all zeroes google for analytics stats.

I have it email me daily reports. Landing Pages, Exit Pages, which domains have had lookups at domaintools.com etc.. Its great to see these numbers.

Just a quick update regarding the system downtime we experienced earlier today.

At around 12PM (GMT) an automatic firmware update took place on a critical component of our network. This update contained a bug that resulted in a hardware malfunction and subsequent downtime lasting 8 hours.

Our parking services have now been fully restored and we have now taken the necessary steps to ensure that such an event doesn't reoccur in the future.

Once again, we will be crediting those whose earnings have been affected by this incident shortly.

If anyone requires any direct assistance with their Bodis accounts, please open a support ticket and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

We do apologize for this inconvenience.

When you click on Countries or Referrers, it seems that you can't click from there to see a list of which domains fall under each referrer or country.
It's not a big deal at all, just pointing it out.
And maybe I'm just not seeing how to do it :)

Hello,

Looking up domains in reverse by their Referrer/Country isn't feasible at present, but we have already discussed including this ability in the future, possibly later this year.

i noticed today bodis parked pages were out and not loading again.

it didn't last hours.. but it did last for maybe 5 mins. so say for the past 5 mins of the timne I am writing this now.

since none of us check bodis parked pages 24/7, may I ask the bodis department here to clarify just how many such outage intervals are there daily or weekly.. what amounts of time it adds up to on a weekly or monthly basis... and whether there exist precise statistics as to these downtimes.

I assume it is normal for parking companies to have some downtime. I just wanted to find out what these averge numbers may be for your particular company and whether they add up weekly or monthly to anything worth mentioning here. as I said no one here checks if their parked page or sale lander is up 24/7, so I think it is okay to ask for downtime stats for your clients.

It is NOT normal when domains are down.
It may be considered as normal for Bodis-interface/panel only (so-called: scheduled maintenance).

At PC their website/panel is completely separated from the parking servers.

These occurrences are uncommon. For instance, the last time our servers were down was back in February and this only lasted minutes before out DDoS mitigation system kicked in.

thank you. I am no parking expert. so may I ask what is meant by local connection issue? unfortunately I did not take screenshot of it to assist you.. all I know is that I tried loading the "preview arrow icon" within my bodis manager for about 20 random domains during a span of about ~5-8 mins and all of them went into my blank/timed out type of screen in chrome.
all this while everything else on internet was loading for me fine. I do such previews for some domains quite regularly (again, not 24/7, obviously) and this has never occured to me before. ty

Bodis just use some AntiDDoS-methods...
So repeating requests may be ignored... that's why your IP was banned during a few minutes...

if clicking on the preview domain button in domain mnager is considered abnormal behaviour, leading to a ban then perhaps this button should stop being available no?

besides.. I've done this action of previewing domains using this button coutnless times in past... and this never happened to me, during the times I used it before.

I'm sure Troy will help me understand this properly. so I can know what this in future if ever it happens to me again.

Then it was a local connection issue...
I also use preview at Bodis every day when adding new domains... and no problems for me this year...
