New on NamePros!

Best posts on profiles
Every member profile now has a "Best posts" tab. It lists that member's posts with the most points. Filter it by All, Threads, or Replies.

More in the activity feed
"Latest activity" on profiles and in What's new now shows more. You will see when members come online, post a quick reply, or follow someone for the first time. Username changes, trophies, and new avatars show there too.

Bulk edit for parked domains
Bulk edit on your domain list now saves the For sale setting. There is a new Bulk edit portfolio option. The selection bar stays up while you work, and the Save button stays in view.

Enjoy!

Domain search update!

The domain search bar now shows premium registrations with a Register button. Before, some premium names showed as taken or as aftermarket listings.

When the first registrar cannot sell a name, we now check a second registrar before we call it taken. Short premium names, like two letter .xyz names, now show as available with their price.

Try it in the search bar at the top of any page. Happy hunting!

Threads now have a Close button.

In some sections, every member can open and close their own threads. Examples: the domain marketplace (Domains For Sale, Domain Auctions, Make an Offer), the appraisal sections, and Ask Pros Anything (APA). In those sections, you will see a Close button at the top of your thread, next to Watch. Press it to close your thread. When the thread is closed, the button changes to Open. Press it to open the thread again.

The lock option in the "..." menu still works the same way as before.

Tweets in posts now look better!

When someone shares a tweet from X (Twitter) in a post, NamePros now shows it as a card. The card keeps its size while the page loads, so the page does not jump while you read.

What the card shows
  • The author's profile picture, name, and @Username at the top. Each one links to their X profile.
  • Photos, and a preview picture for videos.
  • Quoted tweets, as a smaller card inside.
  • The real web address for links (e.g., example.com) instead of a short t.co link.
  • Long tweets end with "…". Click it to read the full tweet on X.

This works in new posts and in older posts too.

Want the original view from X? Click "Load full embed" on the card.

Enjoy!

Portfolio websites: four new options

Your NamePros portfolio website has four new choices today.

Share a filtered view. The three dot menu now has a "Share" option. It gives you a link to exactly what you see, with your filters and sort. You can copy it or send it to X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, WhatsApp, Telegram, or email. Filter to what a buyer asked for, then send them the link.

Link to your NamePros landers. Portfolio settings have a new option, "Link to your NamePros lander". When on, clicking a domain opens its NamePros lander, even if the domain uses other nameservers. You can set it for all domains or for one domain.

Hide the CSV download link. Portfolio settings have a new "CSV download link" switch. Turn it off to remove the "Export CSV" entry from the menu.

Hide domain counts. Portfolio settings have a new "Domain counts" switch. Turn it off and your portfolio no longer shows how many domains match each filter.

Find these under "Basics" in your portfolio settings. Enjoy!

New: schedule your posts, and find your drafts

You can now write a post today and have NamePros post it for you later!

It works for new threads, replies, profile posts, conversations, and conversation replies.

Look for the small arrow next to the post button. Choose "Schedule send". Pick "Tomorrow morning" or your own date and time, then press "Schedule send" to confirm.

Your scheduled posts are on the "Scheduled posts" page. You can edit one, change its time, send it now, or cancel it. If you cancel, we save your text as a draft (profile posts have no draft).

All the usual posting rules apply at the time it is posted (e.g., limits and permissions). If a post cannot be posted, we send you an alert that explains why. Times are in your own time zone.

Drafts

NamePros already saves what you write as a draft. Now there is a "Drafts" page that shows all your drafts in one place. Press "Open draft" to continue writing. To remove a draft, open it and clear the text.

The same arrow next to the post button also has "Save draft". It saves your text and opens your Drafts page.

You can open "Scheduled posts" and "Drafts" from the menu under your avatar, or from your account page.

New: more help with your parking inquiries

Your parking inquiry pages now tell you much more!

Spam risk. Each new inquiry shows a spam risk: Low, Medium, or High. We also show the reasons. You can filter your inquiry list by spam risk.

Inquirer history. See how many other inquiries came from the same email address or connection.

Email and phone. See what kind of email address it is (e.g., free, temporary, or a company address). See where a phone number is from.

Company details. When the buyer writes from a company email address, see details about that company. Examples are its size, industry, location, founding year, and LinkedIn page.

Time and place. See the local time and weather where the inquiry appears to come from. For US inquiries, see general income and population figures for the area.

Quick searches. Small icons after the name, email, and organization open a search on Google, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, or OpenCorporates.

Exports. Your inquiry export has new columns, such as spam risk. You can sort and filter them in a spreadsheet.

These are estimates to help you decide. They do not prove that an inquiry is real or fake.

Open any inquiry to try it. We hope this helps you close more sales!

NamePros Parking: large imports keep trying longer!

Do you import 100 to 25,000 domains at once? We now check every domain that is not verified yet once a day for 7 more days.

Before, we stopped after less than 2 hours. Now your nameserver changes have more time to spread.

Several large imports now take turns. One very large import no longer makes other members wait.

Imports with fewer than 100 domains work as before.

Note: When very many domains are waiting, the daily checks may stop earlier.

We also fixed a problem with catchall emails. Some emails showed "We weren't able to decode this email". Emails of that kind now show as plain text.

Thank you for using NamePros Parking!

New: block a member

You can now block another member. Open their profile and press "Block", next to "Follow" and "Ignore".

A block works both ways. Neither of you can quote, mention, message, react to or quick reply to the other. Neither of you can write on the other's profile or follow the other. You will not see their content, and your posts will not show in their feeds or lists. Both of you can still reply in the same threads.

Blocking removes any follow between you. Trade feedback is not affected.

Ignore stays as it was: it hides a member from you and changes nothing for them. We also fixed some places where an ignored member's content could still reach you, such as a reply in a conversation you share.

The full guide, with Ignore and Block side by side, is here: Ignore and Block

Thank you for telling us what you need!

Scheduled posts now show a small calendar icon

When NamePros posts something for you on a schedule, you will now see a small calendar icon before its date.

Move your mouse over the icon, or tap it on your phone. It shows when you set the schedule and the time you chose.

Only you and the NamePros staff can see the icon on your posts. Other members cannot see it.

New in Parking: updated way to act on many domains or inquiries at once
Your domain list and inquiry list now have a bar above and below the list. Check the items you want, then choose an action in the bar.

The "Select" button picks from the whole page, every item in the list, or the domains that you paste in.

A bulk edit now lists the domains you are editing. Choose "Set new value" on each setting you want to change. Everything else stays as it is.

You can also add many removed domains back at once.

Parking: Insights on more pages

Your Inquiries and Domain names pages now show the same figures and charts as your dashboard.

Parking: Help guides

New guides show each step with short videos: Manage your domains, Act on many domains at once and Act on many inquiries at once.

Parking: find your domains by pasting a list

You can now paste a list of domain names into the search box at the top of the Parking menu. Put one name on each line. Your domain list then shows exactly those domains, and tells you which names are not in your account.

Parking: domain selection, e.g., copy selected domains to your clipboard

The bulk bar has a new "Copy" button. It copies the names of the domains you selected, one per line, ready to paste into a spreadsheet or another service. The domains you select now stay selected when you change tabs, filters or searches.

Open your domain list

Watched threads: your alert now keeps up with new replies
When you watch a thread, each new reply now updates your alert. Before, you got one alert and then nothing until you read the thread. The alert tells you how many new posts you have not read yet. Click it to jump to the first unread post. Emails for a watched thread are sent at most once every 30 days while you have not read it.

Forum and tag watches can do the same
If you watch a whole forum or a tag, you can turn this on for replies too. Open the watch and tick "Update my alert as new replies come in".

Change a watch without starting over
Click "Watching" on a thread, forum or tag to change its settings or to stop watching. The watched forums and watched tags pages let you change many watches at once.

Threads count next to Posts
Click a member's name to open their card. It now shows how many threads they started, next to their post count. The same count appears at the top of their profile page.

We hope this helps you keep up with the threads you care about!

Parking: a minimum offer as a share of your target price

Your "Relative minimum offer" setting can now follow your target price as well as your buy-now price. Set a percentage for each one. When a domain has both prices, you choose which price the minimum offer follows. Lower offers are declined for you. Find it under Sales in your parking settings, for your whole account or for one domain.

Open your sales settings

Parking: a plain list of your portfolio domains
Your public portfolio page has a new option in the menu next to the sort options. "Domain list" opens a plain page with one domain name per line and nothing else. It is easy to copy, and you can save the page if you want it as a file. "Export CSV" is still there, now at the bottom of that menu.

In your portfolio settings, the option that was called "CSV download link" is now "Download links". It controls both entries. Turning it off removes them from the menu.

Portfolio sites: new ways to sort, filter and group your domains
Your public portfolio page has a few new tools for visitors.

Portfolio: Newest first
The sort menu now has "Newest first". It shows the domains you added most recently at the top. You can also make it the default order in your portfolio settings.

Portfolio: filter by words
Under "Length and more" there is a new "Words" filter. Visitors can look for names made of one, two or more English words.

Portfolio: a "One word" category
Domains that are a single English word now carry a "One word" category. Visitors can pick it in the Category list.

Portfolio: categories by size
The Category list now shows the categories with the most domains first. "Other" always comes last.

Portfolio: a tidier toolbar on phones
On a phone, the Filters, view, Sort and menu buttons now stay on one line. The view button opens a small menu to switch between grid and list.

Quick replies: search, your most used replies, and more on every post
Quick replies are easier to find and use now.
  • The quick reply menu has a search box. Type a few letters to find the reply you want.
  • A new "Frequently used" row at the top of the menu shows the replies you use most.
  • Each post now shows more of the quick replies it received, most used first. Press the "..." button to see all of them.
  • Press a number to see who gave that quick reply. The new Quick replies tab in that window lets you give one too, and its arrow button opens the full menu right there.
  • Your account menu has a new Quick replies page. It lists the quick replies you received and the ones you gave, and you can filter it by quick reply.
  • On a phone, when a post's quick replies do not fit next to its points, they move to a row of their own below. That row scrolls sideways, with arrows at each end.
