It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
You can only use "in-store credit".

Those were intentionally separated for obvious reasons, to try and leave the Masterbucks liabilities behind.

Brad
i thought all MB was all automatically converted to it.
What is Masterbucks? Think about it.

Epik removed the acquisition update from their website:

It was there earlier today.
They removed the DIRECT link from their "pressreleases" page.

If you use the link in post #8,142 it still brings up the announcement still hosted on Epik's server.

Is the $62,284 a newly known liability???
Remember these amounts are NOT debt, they are liabilities, since customers were NOT trying to finance Epik's disaster.
As far as this claim, I don't know.

There are so many to keep track of between this thread, Trustpilot, Twitter, domain blogs, etc.

All I know is many people have Masterbucks balances of thousands and thousands of dollars, and that excludes Domain Empire's claim.

It's a scam.
A scam, but it also feels like: it doesnt exist anymore.
They got rid of it! by converting all of it to in-store credit (at least that was my case; thank God i didnt have a lot.)

My point being; the few positives; if you dont “cashout”

RENEWALS WORK INSTANT! Adds years now lol

It is supposed to be something that has a 1:1 cash value and can be withdrawn at any time.

What is it really?

It is like Paddy's Dollars, some worthless internal currency being run by people who have no idea what they are doing.

It still exists -- since Epik's customers (victims) still haven't been paid yet, -- but "Epik" is seemingly trying to pretend it doesn't exist anymore (to make it harder to prove they owe the money) and/or is seemingly part of a "different" company from the "new" "Epik".

I honestly believe they’re going to drop MasterBucks.com domain.

What’s the purpose of keeping it now? What value does it have? Who’d touch it.

Maybe they converted it for 1 or 2 people, certainly not for all.

Wow!! That makes the awful thing epik did — EVEN MORE AWFUL !!

This takes “washing your hands” whole new meaning.

I am not sure where you are hearing that from.

@Igor Gabrielan was your Masterbucks balance converted to "in-store credit"?

"New" Epik made it clear that Masterbucks was an excluded "asset".

Won't let me post the link here, but I archived the half-deleted press release on the Wayback Machine (archive dot org) as well.

I think this confusion was caused by what Kathleen reported about her Epik In-store balance and her Masterbucks balance respectively. There was definitely something strange that happened. The situation is different with Igor.

Could you post a screenshot showing when it took place / what they called it???
(Obviously hide your personal info.)

With or without the domain, the Masterbucks balances are still a liability.

Shutting the service down, dropping the domain, none of that will change that fact.

I'd like to add: changing ToS again won't help either.

Masterbucks was excluded for a reason. "New" Epik is trying to exclude that "drippy bag" of liabilities.

They never announced it. It was nuanced. I suppose i should consider myself lucky. I can find much i have left; but finding out the date of the conversion will be tough.

I will try @GNP and let you know!!
i wish i knew before.. Had to be on lookout to eve notice!

Or changing from “inc.” to “LLC”??
For clarity, they should name their new company "Epik Holdings Inc LLC".

Or it could just be Epik 2.0 LLC, Epik 3.0 LLC, Epik 4.0 LLC, Epik 5.0 LLC, etc.

Each new version can attempt to cover for the mismanagement of the previous one.
