I found 2 othe rcodes today that gives 30% discount.
This worked today for both new registration and renewals.

EMMA412 --> .com for $7.66 included ICANN for both register and renewal.

gda627p --> .com for $7.67 included ICANN for registration. (ends 11.july"

PLease share any better codes. :$:

Fyi, com/net/org/info transfers are now $7.49 + fee versus $6.99.

As of approx. twenty minutes ago

The following worked for renewals:
EMMA412 worked for .com $7.66 renewal
SCAM14 worked for $7.67 .org renewal

The following favorites didn't work for a (1-5 domain) .com renewal:
gda611x ($7.48 Renewal with $1.00 Private Registration)
gofivgind2
NCPD2
VIP5MIN6A
TVSPECIAL
DNF5
DNF2

Also, on my last checkout I automatically received $7.48 + .18 fee on some .com renewals w/o entering a code.

Last resort, if you can't find a code that works, call GD.

Oh yes there is:

GDBB776 = $7.68

Only works for renewals. Does not work for new registrations.

Previously I had been using scam14 for .net registrations. Now I have nothing.

TDNAM has a "buy now" for $5 button for a .us, but when you go to the checkout they tack on an extra $19.95, even though their new registration price for a .us is only $2.99. I tell you want, I am going to post a "buy now" for $5,000 button for a new, but left over 2010 Ford pick up truck. When the buyer goes to pick it up I am going to tack on an extra $19,950. Any takers?

When it comes to TDNAM expiring/closeout domains they charge the RENEWAL price, rather than a new registration. One of those little annoyances at GoDaddy.

When ur picking up names from TDNam they are not "new registration" hence the $2.99 new reg promo doesn't apply. The name ur getting was not dropped and still holds it's age so that's the advantage.

If you really want it at $2.99 then wait for the name to drop and try to catch it before someone else - but then u risk losing it as well.

Does the domain being bought retain it's age?

Yes, it does. :)

I'm a sucker for aged .COM's, so I am happy to pay the renewal (there also isn't a big difference between .COM reg and renewal).

Good to know, thanks it would be worth it then, especially if it's an oldie (and a goodie of course) :D

Definitely! For all those non-COM/NET/ORG domains, it's best to use one of the 10-30% "catch all" coupon codes.
