Hi guys,

Just curious if any of you gets this error when using a code:

Some of our best offers are limited to one per customer and it looks like you've already used one. We've updated your cart with the best offer, if one is available.

This is what I see below the code field:

The code entered has some restrictions.

I get it when I try to use a .99 domain coupon, cause i've already used one even tho not the same code.

Thanks for the response! It seems to be the same error for all the coupons. Not sure why. Should I be worried? :(

Looks like you've used everything. I've posted like 250 coupons some time ago in the other thread.

Try paying through direct bank transfer. It always works for me, because they always record CC details.

I've never gotten that message before. I haven't reg'd a lot of domains lately though, so maybe it's a new thing. I have seen and used their new cart update but never that message, even when a code didn't work

I'll have to keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the heads-up. :)

You do not know direct bank transfer? Maybe you don't have that option in US. It's payment through your online bank account. It works everytime. They can never record it like CC details. :)

I have booked 100+ domains in the past year. I still have like 100 working coupons which I have never used. Save them for transfers! :)

Haven't tried that one before. I only use my debit card. I'm not from US by the way. :)

Many codes only work with a credit card, not sure if a debit card qualifies.

Could be CC and/or bank transfer, but I've never used bank transfer with GoDaddy.

I'm gonna be registering a few withing the next few hours, so i'll check for it and see if it happens.

I don't know why the message would have come up for you unless you have been registering many with codes though.

I'll keep you updated if it happens or not.

I think this also happens to others. Saw some related posts in "GoDaddy Discount Codes" thread.

Yes, I just saw that. I think it just might be something new that they are doing that I haven't come across yet. I guess I will find out shortly.

I have reg'd some domains lately and haven't seen it, but mostly I have been doing more transfers lately that reg's.

Got the same error! And I did register a few .coms yesterday using coupons but cannot do it now.

It's working without the error for me. Maybe because I haven't been regging too many names lately and haven't used a lot of codes.

The ones that the code doesn't work only say the code is invalid. The ones I have used or used a similar code just say "Promotion has been applied to your cart!", even though I didn't get the code price.

I have a couple more names I am looking into, when I go to register them if I get this error I will post here.

Thanks for giving us the heads-up on this. I guess GoDaddy is making some changes to their code system. Let's just hope that they don't stop the codes all together...

I am experiencing this to, I made a new account the other day to re-use coups, all the coupons worked great and I bought 1 .com domain.

Then today absolutely none of the .com coupons work...just keep getting this stupid message.

Oh no. I hope GoDaddy does something as soon as possible. Not sure if there is a new rule but a little announcement from them would have been better.

Same message here, gave up in the end. Although I must say over the years I have used many codes for which I do thank them for, this may be part of the new business model?
