Seems as though Coronavirus is trending.

Prior to coronavirus.info being mentioned here.
Coronavirusinfo.com wasn't regged. It is now! Not mine. Lol

There wasn't much.

Best recent reg has to be Coronavirus.org (it works!)

taken before in

.com
.net
.org (now)
.cn
And mine
Coronavirus.es
Coronavirus.eu
Coronavirus.us

I should have reg these but they are taken now.

.in
.co
.io

Wouldn't go too crazy. I'd do exact match only this one not Coronavirus+keyword.

I'd say any Asian country near China and it's extension should be good.

Interesting fact. VirusChina.com is owned by Tencent.

Also adding

2019NCOV.com regged 1-17-20.
2019-ncov.com 1-12-20
Ncov2019.com 1-17-20
Ncovmask.ckm 1-17-20
Ncovnews.com 1-23-20
NcovVaccine.com 1-18-20
Ncovcure.com 1-18-20

Lol whoever regged these put Whois privacy for obvious reasons so as not to be labelled a bad guy yet they still went and regged.

Very smart given the comments here.

Also buyn95.com is regged on 1-22-20

Please as I mention all the domains regged relating to Coronavirus take note of the dates these domains are regged and when this thread was started by @WhoaDomain.com

If anyone has the guts. Come here and thank me for giving you ideas on what to reg.

Help me out here because I'm just looking like a total d*ck here guys.

Meanwhile you guys are secretly and privately regging BuyN95.com.

No matter how you justify it. Regging n95 whatever at this point is profiting from Coronavirus.

Wow yeah CoronaVirus.com reg in 2003! It would be odd to own a calamity name domain before it was a thing, a teeny tiny part would be like "oh yeah, I got a hit, corona virus is growing!" although I'd of course wish it was not plaguing the world.

I once bought OilPlumes.com when it looked like giant plumes would flow around plaguing our oceans for years to come after the massive gulf spill, but they left the news within a week and I let it expire.

Coronavirus.it reg 2013

I can only imagine the "hate energy" being thrown at Chinese passengers on this boat by Italian passengers.

Back when 9/11 happened much hate in my area Nyc/NJ was thrown at Muslims. Many thought every Arab was a terrorists. Crazy.

In America, depending on an event certain races or nationality feels the "hate".

Whoever felt the past hate I believe (only my own opinion no way to confirm) breathes a sigh of relief that they no longer are the target of "American" hate.

After Korean war. Koreans felt it plus every Asian in USA.

After WW1, Japanese. Moved to camps.
Before and after Civil war. African slaves.
Muslims after 9/11
Even my people Filipinos when "Abu Sayef" was trending and they killed this missionaries in the Philippines.

I think most people have hate in their hearts. It's only when media pushes things with their triggering news to the boiling point and the hate comes to the surface.

I saw back after 9/11 and Arab owned businesses lost business from no Arab customers and had to rely on their own kind shopping.

And now I notice in my area. On buses and trains when someone See's Chinese they give them a wide birth.

Some look at me and try to figure out if I'm Chinese.

Lol I know what they are doing!

One time I even told a lady "I'm not chinese! Relax lady!"

But if a Chinese with a face max comes on the train guaranteed they give them a wide birth.

And NO ONE holds hand rails or poles on trains. Some fall to floor because of this when train makes a sudden jerk or hard move.

Side note. Just realized.

This Coronavirus could be a catalyst for Cryptocurrency.

Think about it. A disease the kills. You can get infected from touching droplets.

What's the one thing people "touch" almost daily" ?

Money. Think about it.

update. This past Tuesday I noted 297 domains were registered containing "Coronavirus".

Today? random check? 552 domain names

552-297= 255 extra new domains registered containing "Coronavirus". That's an extra 255 other unscrupulous bad people since just this past Tuesday I guess.

I'm a fair guy. They can't be all that bad.

One can come to a relative conclusion that it isn't such a crazy idea to register "coronavirus" domains at this point. Maybe they just don't want take a chance on losing out. Or whatever.

But I suspect the domains registered were by the actual registries. I did not check though. could be wrong.

So now we have unscrupulous registries!

Just info boys and girls.

It seems 2019-nCoV is a bit too technical for most people, and it's a placeholder name... MERS was also referred to as "Novel Corona Virus", since it emerged after SARS, so that would make this one "Novel Novel Corona Virus". :)

Most commonly used terms online seems to be just "corona virus" (and misspellings like "coronovirus" and "coronaovirus"), Wuhan Outbreak, Wuhan Pneumonia, Wuhan Flu, Wu Flu (short & catchy), and China Flu.

Even seen hilarious variants like "Winnie the Flu" (re. Xi Jinping and Winnie the Pooh) and "Kung Flu". Hardly marketable though.

wuflu DOT live was linked to me. I found it to be a great resource for keeping tabs on the soon-to-be pandemic.

I guess many will register all kinds of permutations of the official name that WHO is bound to decide within a few weeks.

This pandemic seems to have a longer life...not going away too soon it seems

Researchers say the Coronavirus may be more contagious than current data shows
๐Ÿ‘‰The so-called R naught of the disease, a mathematical equation that shows how many people will get sick from each infected person, is around 2.2.
๐Ÿ‘‰Officials caution that it may take months before true R naught is known as more coronavirus cases come to light.
๐Ÿ‘‰Chinaโ€™s health minister, Ma Xiaowei, recently told reporters there is evidence itโ€™s already mutated into a stronger variation that is able to spread more easily among humans. World health officials say it has mutated to adapt to its new human hosts far more quickly than SARS. Data on the virus is changing by the day, and some infectious disease specialists say it will take weeks before they can see just how contagious it is.

Tencent may have accidentally leaked real data on Wuhan virus deaths

Tencent briefly lists 154,023 infections and 24,589 deaths from Wuhan coronavirus

Tencent over the weekend seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures.

On late Saturday evening (Feb. 1), Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.

The number of cured cases was only 269, well below the official number that day of 300. Most ominously, the death toll listed was 24,589, vastly higher than the 300 officially listed that day.

Moments later, Tencent updated the numbers to reflect the government's "official" numbers that day. Netizens noticed that Tencent has on at least three occasions posted extremely high numbers, only to quickly lower them to government-approved statistics.

Since this is a thread asking what coronavirus domains you registered. I'm a bit late on these. just goes to show how far the regs go for this topic.

Since this virus started in China it should have made sense that registering an IDN or the Pinyin for Coronavirus should have been obvious.

And it seems some Chinese thought so too.
