Seems as though Coronavirus is trending.

Prior to coronavirus.info being mentioned here.
Coronavirusinfo.com wasn't regged. It is now! Not mine. Lol

There wasn't much.

Best recent reg has to be Coronavirus.org (it works!)

taken before in

.com
.net
.org (now)
.cn
And mine
Coronavirus.es
Coronavirus.eu
Coronavirus.us

I should have reg these but they are taken now.

.in
.co
.io

Wouldn't go too crazy. I'd do exact match only this one not Coronavirus+keyword.

I'd say any Asian country near China and it's extension should be good.

This pandemic seems to have a longer life...not going away too soon it seems

Researchers say the Coronavirus may be more contagious than current data shows
πŸ‘‰The so-called R naught of the disease, a mathematical equation that shows how many people will get sick from each infected person, is around 2.2.
πŸ‘‰Officials caution that it may take months before true R naught is known as more coronavirus cases come to light.
πŸ‘‰China’s health minister, Ma Xiaowei, recently told reporters there is evidence it’s already mutated into a stronger variation that is able to spread more easily among humans. World health officials say it has mutated to adapt to its new human hosts far more quickly than SARS. Data on the virus is changing by the day, and some infectious disease specialists say it will take weeks before they can see just how contagious it is.

Tencent may have accidentally leaked real data on Wuhan virus deaths

Tencent briefly lists 154,023 infections and 24,589 deaths from Wuhan coronavirus

Tencent over the weekend seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures.

On late Saturday evening (Feb. 1), Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus (2019nCoV) in China as standing at 154,023, 10 times the official figure at the time. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808, four times the official figure.

The number of cured cases was only 269, well below the official number that day of 300. Most ominously, the death toll listed was 24,589, vastly higher than the 300 officially listed that day.

Moments later, Tencent updated the numbers to reflect the government's "official" numbers that day. Netizens noticed that Tencent has on at least three occasions posted extremely high numbers, only to quickly lower them to government-approved statistics.

Since this is a thread asking what coronavirus domains you registered. I'm a bit late on these. just goes to show how far the regs go for this topic.

Since this virus started in China it should have made sense that registering an IDN or the Pinyin for Coronavirus should have been obvious.

And it seems some Chinese thought so too.

I didn't register any...been riding the 'bug' domain reg bus for a long time...never lost money but it was not easy to sell the names unless you have/had the definitive one.

Today, by seven seconds, I missed the one to have...anybody here at namepros have covid19.com? Your fingers were faster than mine...congrats!

btw...many other numbers are gone as well

I guess many will register all kinds of permutations of the official name that WHO is bound to decide within a few weeks.

Called it (y) But that's of course what always happens.

+75,000 infected now btw. 30 countries. That's really something.

ICANN moves Spring Break online over Coronavirus fears
There will be no cavorting with college students on the beach in Cancun next month for domain policy wonks after all.

ICANN, the organization that oversees domain names, has moved its March meeting planned for Cancun to the internet. The meeting will still happen but it will be virtual. All sessions will be held via remote participation.

Fears of spreading a coronavirus, Covid-19, led to the change....................

Getting into the bandwagon for Corona Virus Disease (CoViD) protection:

1. China has made it mandatory to wear face masks in several regions. Baidu open sources AI to identify people without face masks

2. 'Face ID masks' for COVid-19 will allow Facial Recognition (FR) on smartphones

NOTE:

China population
(2020) is estimated at 1.44 billion people at mid year according to UN data.

There are 3.5 Billion Smart Phone Users worldwide.

Given the potential market for FR masks, I bought these domains:

1. FRmask.com
2. FRmasks.com
3. facialrecognitionmask.com
4. facialrecognitionmasks.com
5. facerecognitionmask.com
6. facerecognitionmasks.com
7. FaceMask ID.com

It started with a drizzle, then a pour and now its a thunderstorm...that CORONAVIRUS for you...people thought this is one of those that disappears with time, but now those cured are being brought back again to containment centers as they are again testing positive.

Easily spreading, easily infect able through airborne, urine, sewer system and longer gestation periods make it a deadly disease...is this the JamesBond of diseases...The WHO head is still scratching his head on naming it as a pandemic as he thinks epidemic is more euphemic
