The IDF has released findings of a strike that killed seven aid workers - identifying that a series of mistakes and incorrect assumptions resulted in their deaths.
"The investigation's findings indicate that the incident should not have occurred," the IDF has said.
"The strike on the aid vehicles is a grave mistake stemming from a serious failure due to a mistaken identification, errors in decision-making, and an attack contrary to the Standard Operating Procedures."
Killed in the series of airstrikes were three British, one Polish, one Australian, one dual US-Canadian aid worker and their Palestinian driver.
Trump himself has said that Israel is losing the International PR war due to grim images being released. Israeli forces have deliberately targeted foreign journalists, in efforts to close the window on their operations in Gaza.
