The one huge factor to this dilemma is something that about 90% of all people do today.

Banks & Financial Institutions got away with what they did because of government, the fed, and Alan Greenspan.
Had Greenspan listen to Brooksley Born maybe the housing boom and bust would have never happened.

I was always under the impression that Banks and Financial Institutions are on top of the Pyramid while the Government and Politicians are one step lower and acting as their puppets.
