ProntoCrypto.com

Hand Reg, Sold for $25...(edited)

Still itching for these fabled $x,xxx some of these guys make weekly!

The key is not to itch for those type of sales.. you buy decent names, you put decent prices and you mostly wait. It can't be forced unless you have ultimate premium names.

ProntoCrypto might be worth $100 to most people, but you do get once in a while someone who finds it really cool for their business and would $X,xxx+ range.

I have some of those sales..NONE that I did outbound on.

HeavyStorm/com
+ bought $94.00 (07/2011)
+ sold $475 ($380 net)
+ venue : Godaddy (buy now $500)

They've started the stupid process of naming storms in the uk lol

Whatever next but the dot com domains of the storm names could be profitable

Eg storm (every person's first name in dot com etc it wouldn't be long before before you'd own the correct name of the storm at the time of that particular storm which could sell well

Video format?

Actually your VG is much better than both.
Video game/gaming, only a trillion dollar business. :)

This domain had 28k monthly visitors and few 100 backlinks . That's the reason why it has been sold for that price ...

Just sold Change / management / Certification dot com
reg. : $12.50
Final price: $950.

This is one that I picked up from Robbie's Bog. The reason I reg'd this name is that I work in the profession and understand the clients.

Outbound about 20 emails on Dec. 30th.
Got a reply asked and asked for $1497 which is reasonable for their business. Closed at $950.
That was sullyโ€™s blog

VFStreaming.com (Edited)

Not quite sure what the VF stands for (Video Film ?)

VF stands for Version Francaise meaning French Version. There's alot of people who search for French versions of their shows and movies online. There's a few "streaming" and "vf" varieties out there.

Even without the traffic that SirDrago mentioned, I think it undersold at $1200.

Nice sale. But please if it is outbound always try to give us more story to the sale: How many people did you contact? How long does it take to wrap it up, etc. Thanks

Domain Name: Wash/World[dot]net
Sale Venue: Efty
Sale Type: Inbound (BIN)
Asking price: $450
Sale Price: $450
Purchase Price: $20 (GD Closeout)
Purchase Date: June 2017

I did some outbound on this one when I first got it; contacted maybe 8 or 10 end users. No interest or even any replies at the time.

I had it listed in the high XXX range until a couple months ago, when I dropped it to the price listed above. Looks like it was purchased by one of the gentlemen I emailed back in June 2017.

I know people give the .net names a lot of grief, but I'm developing a fondness for them after three sales of two-word names in the $300 to $700 range in the past year or so. That's from a total of maybe 15 purchased. Small sample size to be sure, but it's nice to see that there's still some demand for them if you keep the prices reasonable and pick good keywords.

I was on the fence about these other .nets, but I think I'll now be renewing for another year:

What and give away the secrets? HeHe, you have to earn that with sweat and tears first. :xf.grin:

Even better. 4N.com's going for low $xxx. I remember those times.
