This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

As i always mention and many domainers disagree but i would stick with method of retargetting whoever comes to my any names my google analytics save that visitor in pixel and then follow them wherever they go... so technically when someone interested comes to your name and made u offer immediately after seeing your counter offer they will left but then whereever they wll go like youtube yahoo or any news sites they will see my names banners everywhere so when buyer see that banners everywhere they think ad is running and following everywhere means name can be sold anytime and that create urgency in buyer behavior ..
Congrats on your sale. This is called retargeting marketing used for sales of products and services. It is good to see you are using it to sell your domain name but you could have added that it is not FREE feature but you pay for it. With pixel installed on your website, whoever visit your website will keep seeing your ads wherever they go... Facebook also offer this service.

I also sold my first hand registered domain HELPONWATER.NET for $79.99
It was listed on eBay for Buy it now or Best offer and I was ready to drop it. But Ihad some problems with this sale.
Potential buyer had contacted me with asking about minimal offer I can accept. When I started to type my answer my domain was sold instantly for $79.99.

I received money on PayPal. But after a week PayPal contacted me about this financial operation problems saying someone has paid for this domain name from another person's bank account. But after some communication PayPal left these money on my account.

My recommendation when you sell a domain name on eBay and have a buyer or potential buyer just start a short communication to be sure it is not a scammer and look at feedback also.

I am sorry for my low English level but I hope it was interesting for someone.

Big Mistake but worth learning from-

Sold SantaMariaHomes_Com for 350$ via afternic.

I forgot one zero when put BIN there and end with selling it for losing money.

So, Re-check your BIN prices!!:) I learned my lesson.

Same happened to me last year, $90 instead of $900, and the domain sold for BIN.

It is a city of 107,000 in California. City of that size in that geography + homes.com is definitely worth 4 figures end user.
