This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Good one!

Nice job. Do you sell it directly with PayPal or through a marketplace by directing them there?
Both... I give all the options to buyer and they are free to choose whichever they like

Sold my only one .io domain at Dynadot marketplace (this was my first sale with them):
P/u/b/s/./i/o
Sale price: $190
Purchase price: $29.99
I don't even expect to get back my purchase fee from it and would drop it at renewal, but my luck, that it was sold.

Congrats, too bad that money will stay at Dynadot for a while. Unless they've changed their payout policy recently, which I'm not aware of.

Yes, it's frustrating. Though, optionally, you can ask for payout. I'm going to reinvest them into a better name. But if the amount was much more greater I would ask for payout, definitely.

BrilliantTours.com $400

Sold last month, inbound through email but used afternic for closing.

I needed money then. However buyer was acting like they couldn't pay more and how tours are few.
But i do see they are number one in the UK, building a new website, connected to luxury brands etc.
The one lesson, I will implement going forward, is to say FU in a respectful way to pity me, stories.

I will give deals where there is true honesty, but in general... Apple won't give you their iphoneX for $5o just because you are a startup in need.

Congrats! How much time did you spend creating the website, promoting on Flippa? You can't do ROI thing a) without time consideration; b) per name/site, unless that is all you have
