Hostgator favour and money for you

right i have an account with hostgator that i am scrapping and getting a new account

so that means i would like to be someone referral so that they get some money $50 to be exact

however i need to pay off my old hosting account and pay for my new hosting account and would like a domain name which comes to about $40

so what i am proposing is that someone sends me $40 via paypal and then i get my new hosting account using their refferal link and so they get $50

meaning they keep $10

Hostgator holds the money for a month or so before releasing funds....these are fraud checks to ensure that the affiliates are not signing up themselves to earn the 50bucks....
i doubt if you are ready to wait for a month or so...lol

I have read some negative reviews of them some threads before. They do not pay their affiliates for 3 month.

as far as i know they pay them as soon as 1 month is over...though dunno if that really is the case..
