Is anybody else not happy about GoDaddy's new domain manager interface?
I think it's horrible and sets GoDaddy domain management back tremendously!
We no longer have the ability to access domain appraisal valuations and certificates we spent years compiling?
Just spent an hour on a GoDaddy Chat Support trying to get a refund! An hour?
Did you know they work on multiple support chats with other customers at the same time they work on yours, so it takes forever to accomplish even the simplest of tasks, like a refund request.
Hint to others: Call for support, Chat is a huge time waster, because their chat agents are not focused, trying to deliver customer service to multiple customers at the same time is NOT GOOD!
Did you know that, AUCTIONS aren't considered PRODUCTS now and are therefore unsearchable in their new RENEWALS and BILLING search interface. So be prepared for blind billings! Really horrible!!
It feels good to vent! Thanks for listening!!
Care to comment @Joe Styler as it was a very frustrating time consuming day as a GoDaddy customer!

I haven't checked yet .. but the billing part is completely unacceptable if true .. they have made NUMEROUS billing errors and double charges on my end ... it's really surprising from a company that size!

ADDED INFO: Hmmmn .. I just checked on my PC and it's the same as before. However a couple months ago on my mobile, the very essential and integral "My Products" page became a jumbled up unusable mess .. last I checked a few days ago it was the same ...

I noticed the domain info page, when you click on the domain is a bit to streamlined, the other one was much better. Gave more details, had more function.

No bulk action to remove privacy on domains, must be done one by one?

Yes. I actually thought a new program on my computer was making things display improperly...just another reason for me to keep moving my names away from them.

Not sure if they are using monkeys with darts to make decisions about changes there but maybe they should employ a couple...I think they would do better with random dart tossing. Plus they work for peanuts (wait...thats elephants...never mind).

I agree they need to talk to active users and get their input.

People who have actual domains, use their services, push, transfer, auctions, afternic etc..

Why do all these things, then make everyone mad, then revert back, why not just get right the first time.

Very Poor interface. First time I was confused. I was thinking that my internet connection is not stable. ha ha But there was big change. I am disappointed.

They had a meeting today and all the concerns (save the auctions billing one which is another department) were brought up and they said they will get a resolution planned for this as well as the bulk DNS changes and the ability to see the Domain Lock status which were brought up on different threads.

Thanks @Joe Styler it's a pleasure to know that we GoDaddy customers have such a responsive and helpful resource here on NamePros!

I have 1920x1080 monitor and more than a half of screen is wasted on a header and completely unnecessarily HUGE name.
WTF
Who designed it? Some unpaid intern or something?

I hate the current trend of catering to smartphone/table users and making everything big and wasting space - that's why I have big monitor screen, so I don't have to scroll and I can see everything at one glance.

I like Namesilo's interface the best.

I use a 2600x1600 and even on my screen on some websites I need to roll down multiple pages due to the trend you described.

Talking about professional designers :xf.rolleyes:

I can't care less; i moved all my domains away from them years ago and happily never look back.

I'm in the process of moving almost 200 domains out/away from GoDaddy. Good riddance to them.

then you are in a far better position than those who truly do like godaddy and want to stay there, but are forced with changes that are far from being better or improvements.

We keep changing things over time and if it's not right the first time we keep at it until it works for the most people we can help. That is one of the things I love about this business, the Internet changes so quickly you are constantly learning and adapting. Look at where we were 10 years ago, if we kept things the same over time no one would be happy with that either.

If we get the chance we hope you'll be back.
