Today, it happened that an available domain wasn't priced with the regular fee during checkout at DD, but rather with some inflated aftermarket price.

Luckily, I noticed and removed the domain from my cart.
A few minutes later, I was able to register the domain normally.

This must not happen, @Dynadot .

That is weird. What's strange is that the yearly fee shows up regularly, just bugged out on the cart price. Will get it checked into.

Thank god that you are back from Thailand. I supposed you are still photographing tigers, elephants and opium fields.

Yes it´s strange and I did not like to test the seriosity of the pricing, for understandable reasons.

For sure, probably pretty nerve-wracking seeing a million dollar hand-reg.

Didn't photograph any tigers but saw a few wild elephants and gibbons

Howdy! Add it to user auctions? I'm not sure if we'd go for that tbh, do you know if any other auction platforms allow for that?

Only show that message if there is no proxy to counter it. The proxy appears to be actioned immediately (as expected), so really a delay of a second or so should suffice. If a proxy is actioned, then a 'You've been outbid' message should be the only one you see. If there is no proxy (or the proxy is lower than your max) then 'You're the highest bidder' is the message you should see.

Ideally, it would be a dynamic message, so if you leave the browser window open and someone manually outbids you 5min later then the message would change from 'You're the highest bidder', to 'You've been outbid'.

The second part might be harder to implement and is more a 'nice to have', but the first part is pretty much essential to keeping a bidder informed (IMO). If it's hard to have the second part as a dynamic message, then perhaps this could update automatically every couple of minutes or something like that...

I'd also suggest that 'Your proxy bid' amount appear in green if you're the highest bidder, or red if you've been outbid. This is just another helpful visual cue that makes things easy without having to read and process each time.

When I do whois lookups on .ai domains registered with Dynadot, the "Detailed Whois Results" block says "You have been banned for abuse" and there is no "Contant Domain Holder" button (which is otherwise a part of this block).

Could you DM me your username please? Also is it just for .AI names? Also, do you use a VPN? There's a rate limit, and communal IPs can trigger it quicker.
