Hello Namepros,
Osir Inc is an ICANN Accredited Registrar (IANA 4332). Accreditation has been obtained in 2024, but we have a long experience operating as registrar in some specific ccTLD for more than 20 years. We will use this space for announcements and feedback from members of this forum.

There are many registrars there and the market is heavily saturated. We are a small registrar and our focus has been the AI Niche. The old over the browser operations will still remain, but nowadays most of us spend a good time of interacting with informative parts of the web through a LLM Chat interface. Here we want to live too.

Osir comes with a rich MCP Server. You can register, host and deploy a site in one prompt. (The MCP will handle registration, dns pointing, vps deployment, OS installation, webserver, ssl and whatever is in between). The dashboard is there, but there may be a simpler way to manage your domains.

Pricing - we are commited to keep a fair pricing. Most registrars will push for low fees at registration, and recover on renewals. We will keep same price and be fair about it. We will charge what a domain costs + a small markup. We focus on offering other value added services (like deploy infrastructure in one click) and the business plan is focused toward that revenue to make the difference.

Any ideas you may want to be seen implemented, please drop a line (private is open as well) and we will do our best to fit it in our roadmap. OSIR CLI - Manage the domains from your terminal

The CLI tools received some focus when the developer of Open Claw mentioned that for agents, a CLI is one of the best tools. Well, we started OSIR thinking what a developer may need, and it was logical for us that as most developer live in between consoles, a CLI tool is handy to manage mainly the zones of the domain, and deploying infrastructure (VPS) from a CLI for example.
The operations of checking a domain, registering a domain, we take for granted and of course the CLI covers them.

If you have a domain and you use our DNS Servers, you can manage the domains, zones and VPS from the command line, or from a more advanced CLI Shell.

Some capabilities are:

• Domain Management — Check availability, register, renew, lock/unlock, set privacy protection, update nameservers, validate
• DNS Records - Full CRUD for A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and SRV records, plus zone management and DNSSEC
• VPS Management - Create, start, stop, restart, resize, delete, and monitor virtual servers
• Billing & Payments - Check balance, view invoices, make payments, see transaction history, pricing, checkout
• Domain Suggestions - AI-powered name generation, word spinning, prefix/suffix variations, bulk suggestions

Every command supports a -o json flag, making OSIR CLI a perfect building block for scripts, cron jobs, and CI/CD pipelines.

A cool feature is the shell itself. It has:

• Tab completion - Context-aware suggestions for commands, subcommands, and flags
• ? key help - Press ? at any point to see available completions
• Persistent history - Commands saved across sessions with Ctrl+R reverse search
• Session reuse - Authenticate once, run as many commands as you want

OSIR Tunnel - https://osir.run

Dedicated to developers but also to those who want to expose a service on the internet, but pre-purchase of a domain name. Osir Tunnel is part of the OSIR CLI (see post above this one). Assuming you have a web serving on port 8080 (an old school that still uses Java) or a service on porte 3000, with Osir you can simply create a tunnel with

osir tunnel 8080.

You will get back a public URL like: https://teuta-butrint-k7m2q.osir.run that anyone can visit from anywhere.

What is this good for?

• Showing work in progress. Send a client or a colleague a link to the branch you are running right now, without deploying to a staging server first.
• Webhooks. Point Stripe, GitHub or any other provider at the tunnel address and watch the requests arrive in your local debugger, with breakpoints, exactly as they were sent.
• Testing on real devices. Open the link on a phone, on someone else's laptop, or in a browser-testing service. You get a real HTTPS origin, so service workers, geolocation and clipboard access behave as they will in production.

There are tools like NGROK, but we are bringing this as part of our effort to provide a domainin AI infrastructure where agents can interact with your infrastructure. The tunnel can also expose service generated by AI agents or an API sandbox that needs to reach a callback URL on a machine that isn't publicly addressable.

At Osir we have added some features with Zone List.
You can monitor specific words, can see most registered word in the last days, also, you can see which TLDs are gaining and loosing total domains. Of course this information is spread in different sites, but we are adding some features that you may find interesting, and suggest more.
