Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

https://www.dynadot.com/sales.html

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Dynadot is an ICANN accredited domain name registrar and web host headquartered in San Mateo, California. Founded in 2002 by a software engineer, our primary focus is engineering and design excellence. Our custom written, state-of-the-art domain and hosting software is stable, fast, and easy to use. From humble beginnings, we have grown steadily and now are home to over 2.6 million domains.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Could you DM me your username please? Also is it just for .AI names? Also, do you use a VPN? There's a rate limit, and communal IPs can trigger it quicker.
I did lookups without logging in so not sure how my username can help; yes, only for .AI names. And I was under impression that it was not me "banned for abuse" but rather Dynadot (by .ai registry?), because if I switched query to another extension domain it would be fine again.

Right now I can get the results for .ai names, however the contact button is not present...

Hi @Caleb Tweed ,

installments not showing on auction page, it would be great to add detailed information about Installment payment on auction lander

@Caleb Tweed please unlink Sedo listing for BrandingGo.com
Sedo support won't help
Dyna support can't help.

Hmm maybe we hit our max for the day with them if others were working fine...

Not showing up for me either, looking into it.

@Caleb Tweed In the domain manager, you have these useful icons to the right showing if a domain is listed for sale at Dynadot/Sedo/Afternic, no matter if they are standard or fast transfer listings.

While it is currently possible to filter domains according to whether they are in SedoMLS or Afternic Fast Transfer, it would also be great if it were possible to filter according to all names that are listed or not listed at Sedo or Afternic - not only fast transfer listings.

Hope this makes sense :giggle:

Ah so just an include/exclude for names at Afternic/Sedo at all? I think that might be doable, the thing I'd worry about is if the name is listed on Afternic/Sedo but not by the domain owner, as it would still bring up the price we get from either of those, that's why the current filter is focused on which names we at least can verify are actually listed by the real owner.

Yes, that is true. If they are not confirmed fast transfer listings in our Dynadot accounts, then the listings might not be our own. But that is still the case today just without the filtering. Actually, I use these icons to see if some of my names are listed at Sedo or Afternic when I know they shouldn't be.

I've had it a couple of times lately where it's really slow one day, but fine the next.

My domain manager is slow if I have a lot of domains displayed per page. It used to be fine until a few days ago.

@Embrand There's quite a bit not working as it should right now.

It's disappointing to say the very least.

Yes, I don't know what is going on.

I also had a bit of a security scare yesterday. Suddenly, I could see in the "Recent logs" that someone had accessed my account from Hong Kong in the middle of the night my time. Last time I checked, I didn't live in Hong Kong, and I don't use VPNs. Needless to say, I also use 2FA.

Dynadot's support staff (she was great, by the way) quickly assured me that it was one of their own staff who had accessed my account with view-only access. But it still left me uncomfortable. Why would they want to access my account from Hong Kong? So if you see a strange IP address in your log in history, it could be Dynadot staff.

She said she would suggest that they change their log reporting so that it will clearly indicate when it was done by Dynadot staff. I really hope they do that.

I had three from Hong Kong as well. (2 different IPs)

I've been attempting to do bulk updates for several hours and I haven't even even surpassed the half-way mark.

It's extremely frustrating when you're laser focused, but the system that was once lightning fast now takes an eternity to complete the simplest of tasks.

Yes, it is very strange. I also ordered a transfer-in today. The transfer was completed within 10 minutes, but it took Dynadot several hours to send the emails relating to the transfer.

It took me roughly 8 hours to complete bulk updates that normally take around 15 minutes.
