We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

There's one thing about your auctions that I find a little frustrating. The auction below is a great example. I place my bid and the big green bar at the top shows that I am the high bidder. However, if you check the pricing at the bottom, you can see this is not the case as I have been outbid. Of course, the message reflects that I was theoretically the highest bidder for a fraction of a second, but then I was outbid by someone else's proxy bid. However, it would be much better if the system delayed the message for a couple of seconds and then it would 'realise' that I am not the highest bidder and could display the correct message informing me that I have been outbid.

P.S. Even going back to that page 10min later (the browser window was still open) shows the message at the top indicating that I am the successful bidder. All the while, the pricing indicates otherwise, and the auction timer is counting down dynamically. It seems odd that the message at the top is not a live reflection of what's happening, while the timer is...

How long would you want your bid to be the actual high bid for before it gave that message? Like 10 seconds or something, or only show that message if there's no proxy bid to counter it?

Only show that message if there is no proxy to counter it. The proxy appears to be actioned immediately (as expected), so really a delay of a second or so should suffice. If a proxy is actioned, then a 'You've been outbid' message should be the only one you see. If there is no proxy (or the proxy is lower than your max) then 'You're the highest bidder' is the message you should see.

Ideally, it would be a dynamic message, so if you leave the browser window open and someone manually outbids you 5min later then the message would change from 'You're the highest bidder', to 'You've been outbid'.

The second part might be harder to implement and is more a 'nice to have', but the first part is pretty much essential to keeping a bidder informed (IMO). If it's hard to have the second part as a dynamic message, then perhaps this could update automatically every couple of minutes or something like that...

I'd also suggest that 'Your proxy bid' amount appear in green if you're the highest bidder, or red if you've been outbid. This is just another helpful visual cue that makes things easy without having to read and process each time.

How about adding a 'Watch Listing' button so we can watch Auctions? it would be very handy when there are certain Auctions that we'd like to see the bidding on/see where they finish (but don't want to actually bid on)...

As like a subset of the watchlist or a completely new area? Or just add the auction to the watchlist in the same way it looks on the auction bids menu?

Have a 'Watch Listing' button on each auction page. Add the auction to a Watchlist as it looks on the Auction Bids menu. Personally, I'd prefer a different watchlist for it - to me it makes more sense to be under the Aftermarket menu - an Auction Watchlist sub-item like the Auction Bids sub-item (however I can also understand why you might add it under Domain Monitoring). And I would definitely make it an option to add that tab to the Summary page.

Which browser are you using for checking? I tried both my US and Canada IPs and it seems to be fine. Does cache clearing for site help fix it at all?

Hi, I tried different browsers
Chrome - not showing
Samsung - not showing
Safari - not showing
Works only in Firefox
Now the same issue without vpn

It's OK today. I tried it yesterday with VPN disabled and it didn't help. Today it's fine. Wouldn't surprise me if my VPN was messing with something (even though I had disabled it) - I don't really trust it.. lol

Hi,

Found a bug on the lander. I disabled the "Listed by ****" option, but it keeps showing on one domain in "More from this seller" listings. I deleted the listing and relisted it, but the issue isn't solved yet.

It is also showing an old SEDO listing from the previous owner on the Dynadot panel, and I am unable to remove it.

I make constant deposit into my account from time to time, toping up well in advance than what I actually need for my actual renewal / transfer in.

However, I notice that the balance doesn't not sound right.

I always write down my remaining balance after purchase so I can tell if things are right.

Yesterday I made a hand registration for $8.99 using the 899COM promo code. Before the purchase, the balance was $205.7

However, it became $187.72 afterwards.

I immediately sent an email to [email protected] but without result.

Can you please follow up? Thanks.
