Real-time stats should be live. They are in real-time, that means figures and visitors can increase or decrease until we post the final stats.

Real-time stats are highlighted in yellow. They should post without any delays between the actual visit time and the posting time.

The only thing to keep in mind. Real-time stats do not discard invalid traffic and may or may not discard invalid clicks/revenue. We try to discard as much invalid revenue as possible from the real-time stats but the final figures usually discard an additional 10-20% on average.

PS
Yahoo EU estimates are not included in the stats. They should be included by tomorrow.

Can someone please explain what RPM is and how it relates to Revenue?

RPM (Revene Per Thousand) is the average revenue per 1000 visitors.

So if you had 1 visitor on your domain name and that visitor made you $0.10, then your average RPM would be $100.

If you were to have 2000 visitors on your domain name and your total revenue is $50, then your average RPM would be $25.

It's just a fancy way of calculating the average of how much your visitors are worth. It is the equivalent of the term CPM (Cost Per Thousand), except that we give you the revenue so it is called RPM rather than CPM. Straight from Wikipedia:

CPM is frequently used in advertising to represent cost per thousand (where M is the roman numeral of 1000). When used in advertising it relates to the cost per thousand page impressions.

Keep in mind we calculate it based on unique visitors rather than impressions.

Well, the new revenue numbers are extremely discouraging, I must say... :(
July will have major drop in revenue, compared to previous months. It looked as if it was going the right way a little bit in the middle of the month, but the last weeks numbers are the lowest ever.
I had hopes for v2 of Bodis, but I'm afraid this is to expensive. I will keep some names in, to see what happens, but I can't really afford to have so many names in any longer.
Looking at the numbers so far this year...

January and February was roughly the same, a drop if almost 25% in February, but mainly due to one high-earning name being removed.
March dropped to 50% of February
April dropped to 1/3 of March, about 18% of what it was in February
May dropped to 80% of April, less than 15% of the February figure
June dropped to less than 90% of April, about 13% of the February numbers.
July is on it's way to about 50% of the June value. Approximately 6% of the February number.
A drop by almost 95% in six months... I'm sorry Matt, I really do appreciate your efforts, but I can't continue this way. Nothing personal, just business.

I will keep some names in to see how the zero-click function works out, when it becomes fully available, but I will move most of my traffic domains to Adsense sites instead. I've had good results with that for many domains.
(And a couple of domains are under full development... one I expect to become a real good revenue source in the future, 5 figures or more per month, if treated right.)

/G

Yes, the visitor numbers from july 23 and on appears to be back at what they were before July 10. Have filters been adjusted again?

How do I already have 7/31 stats? anyone else have their stats for today yet? Does this mean the system is now live stats?

Yes, just go back 6 posts to post #528 and read it.

Drop in revenue is because these are estimates and not all our feeds have been included in the results. Mainly the Yahoo EU which does not return bid prices (applies to those mainly that have EU traffic).

Once final stats come in, the visitors should be filtered out and revenue adjusted accordingly. Some should have increase in revenue, others a decrease.

I'll try to make the estimate rows a little bit more visible in the mean time.

This all takes time. Revenue will improve. I see steady small improvements. My names in other parking companies are not doing so great either. I think its down everywhere. The difference is Bodis is working very hard for domainers. My hat is off to Matt and he will keep improving this site. I am in for the long haul.

Matt,

Great work my friend! I am amazed at this point! You have made Bodis revolutionary for sure. Ability to truly manage your site, domains actually increase traffic on Bodis as opposed to traffic dropping through the roof as in other monetization sites, various revenue options, real time stats, ability to link to any other site including your own, market place to sell domains, and on and on and on. I am very impressed and knew you would get to this point! And the best part is.. you are not finished!

Thank You Again,

Brady

Possible Improvement:
-Ability to search for domains in the 'Manage' area

When will registration open?

Thanks to everyone that supports us and our service! :tu:

Registration will open very soon, we just want to make sure that we get rid of all bugs and quirks before we do so.

Update: We will be testing a new third-party keyword semantics technology that should help improve the selection of keywords on your landing page that adjust according to visitor behavior, country, and average bid prices of ad results. Right now we have absolutely no semantics technology, so this should help improve things a bit. Either way, whether it improves or not, we will be enabling 1-click landers as a result.

You'll be able to let the system automatically decide which is best (1-click vs 2-click) or you can force 1-click or 2-click for any domain name.

Also, we'll give you the option to set a master keyword from your domain customization page, as well as generate related keywords for a master keyword, and we'll let you set a domain name into "Auto Optimization" mode (which would use the semantics technology), or "Manual Optimization" which turns off semantics.

If all goes well we should be able to implement all these features fully around 3 weeks from now.

So the timeline is:

1) Getting your stats finalized by the day.
2) Working with our Zero Click partners within next few days on getting maximum yields on domain names.
3) Opening registration.
4) Opening marketplace.
5) Testing and implementing a semantics system.

No. The reason is because we only have 1 partner currently enabled for Zero Click, and we will have a second one enabled this Tuesday.

Since the coverage from Zero Click is not the same as PPC, we'd have nothing to do with your visitors when there is nowhere to send them to. For instance, if we'd pass in the keyword "Costa rica travel" and they'd return no results, your visitor would not be monetized.

As we have it right now, if you have Zero Click enabled, your domain names use the Zero Click whenever there are Zero Click ad results returned AND they beat the average RPM of the PPC for that domain name.

Maybe if Zero Click (aka PPV) grows then we can start allowing you to force Zero Click only - and I strongly believe that it will grow to that point.

Zero-Click Stats

Matt,

Is there now, or will there be, some way for us to tell from the stats by domain, what (if ANY) part of our revenue is from Zero-Clicks? In other words, is there some way for us to tell if Zero-Click is working for a particular domain. We need some kind of feedback to make the decision whether to activate Zero-Click for each domain.

I agree. I'm seeing a significant improvement in the past week or so, and I'm up substantially on June and May.

I also agree about the comments about other parking companies. I have some names with Parked and Trafficz and they are doing nothing. The Bodis figures are very much ahead of both those companies.
