Hi everyone. I would like to share my experience of using Hover.com. I don't like to talk about negative stuff but I believe it's important to share this and maybe you will think twice before trying them out. It happened about 2 weeks ago because I contacted Tucows regarding this but since no reply followed it makes no sense to wait any longer.
I registered 11 domains on Hover.com. I've set up DAN landers as usual and everything worked as expected. Then suddenly 4 days later I get an email "Your recent Hover order failed". How is it failed if everything works? I contacted support regarding this and they said there was something wrong with the billing and now they will delete all my domains. I was shocked. I asked if the payment was reversed why not just proceed with the payment instead of deleting everything? He didn't explain just said they need to do this.
I spent several days of hard work researching and picking these names and now after successful registration you just removing them. More than that, 8 of 11 names are still resolving but I can't do anything with them because they don't appear in the Hover account anymore.
Sure some have positive experiences with Hover. But after this occurrence and seeing zero interest in resolving the issue I just want to stay away from this registrar. Maybe avoiding them will save some of you some time and effort.
