The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
This should be quick to tweak once @Quebec Tech Team has a chance.
Should we be thanking the NP Canadians for much of this excellent work overall?

This is a really exciting development on NP, and very much appreciated. It' great to hear that you have your Quebec team on the job!

Please forgive me also if I sincerely ask a simple question here. Is there any possibility this is an extended April Fool's Day prank?
That would just be cruel. 😅

That would sure take a lot of effort for a prank, designing an entire back end.

There would be a lot funnier jokes with a lot less effort.

can you please change the wording and position of words at the lander:

for example at the domain "Brad.us" it currently says:
----------------------------------------------------

Available for sale!

Brad.us

----------------------------------------------------

change wording and position towards this:
----------------------------------------------------
brad.us

This domain is for sale!

The plan is to offer many options that you may choose from.

What do you like about “This domain is for sale” that differentiates it from “Available for sale”?

in other words we can never say it got more offers on say no lander a day ago.because we can never know how many it would get on different lander.
That’s not necessary for statistical significance or to draw conclusions from reliable averages, but it sounds like the comparison that you want only exists in parallel universes. 😁

However, it is possible to put the nameservers of two different services on the same domain name at the same time, but that has other drawbacks.

Is this contact form integrated with Dan?

No, Seller will get an email when there's an inquiry, and further handling takes place via email between Seller and Lead. Seller can use a separate email address for handling leads. This email address can be entered in NamePros Parking settings, and --if desired-- may differ from the main account email address used for the NamePros forum.

We’re planning to add a minimum price field that can be set on each domain.
What is the time frame for the minimum price field to be added?

And thanks for all the hard work that you have put into this endeavor!

For those of you who'd like to setup an additional email address for handling their NamePros Parking leads, here's an instruction on how to do this in Gmail, in combination with an email address @ a domain registered through Porkbun.

Of course you can do this with other email providers, too. This is just for inspiration.

just stating facts that it is impossible to say how many offers specific name would get on say sedo lander ..if during that time it was on np lander..or gd lander..etc.

it's just a false claim that holds no logic or ground. in any universe... but few know this...so they say things like... I got more inquiries on tis or that lander. which is utter nonsense.

Does this apply to CTR on parking pages that display ads? Does it apply to conversion rates of product landing pages?

Most importantly, does it mean that you can’t determine when one lander is better (optimized) than another for these purposes?

According to current statistics and beta users with 100+ domains moved, the NamePros landers are performing as good or better than alternatives, and with less spam inquiries.

So far, there have been:
  • 163 total inquiries submitted (these all passed the CAPTCHA to prove they’re human).
  • 105 total inquiries confirmed their email address.
  • 64.4% email confirmed, which could increase as more emails are confirmed on Monday.

The private beta ran for ~2 weeks.

We hope that helps.

Well, for one thing, I am not interested in just inquiry forms. I might consider it when there is bin integration. And even then, by conversion, I mean actual sales, not inquiries. E.g. per Afternic lead center I got 1969 inquiries from Feb 10 2023 to April 2 2023. And most sales were not even from those inquiries. They were straight bins.

Now, let's say I switch and suddenly my inquiries are up to 2500 for similar period? So what if that did not translate to more sales? Or maybe you are so efficient that similar or less inquiries resulted in more sales. In other words, just the change in inquiry number means nothing.

Yeah, that is a fair point.

Hope not. I really don't want to delete my tweet.

Now, a great AF's would have been "NP acquired by Eye-Pick" and you can now use MasterPros for trading..

Kudos to the initiative. It's greatly appreciated.
1) Perhaps you can have several backgrounds to choose from or update this one to be a little more color-fluent or single, dual tones ones to choose from.
2) Allow adding white background around the lander (have borders for it)
3) Give the option to choose the currency (Euro/Dollar et...)
4) Have "Secure... https, tsl, etc... disclaimer at the bottom to treasure the client that things are secure.

I created a GoDaddy profile with the name servers provided and assigned it to 1000+ domains... all are approved here and not a single one is showing up in the verified... All of my Namecheap ones are visible thought. Any Ideas?

Did GoDaddy add the verification nameserver? I have the same issue at another registrar. Ns1 and ns2 work fine though.

GoDaddy doesn't handle unregistered nameservers that well, haven't looked into it to check wether that's the problem but it's a possibility.

@VIPDomains @branding It's something we've been testing, and especially GoDaddy can be very picky while adding the verification nameserver for some ccTLDs. Other registrars were accepting just fine, with a correct delegation in DNS including all three nameservers.

@VIPDomains What are the TLDs you have difficulties with adding the 3rd nameserver for at GoDaddy?

@VIPDomains @branding While testing this for NamePros Parking, I also noticed that there are (still) problems adding the DAN *.hn verification nameserver for some ccTLDs like .de through GoDaddy. The nameservers are accepted in the GoDaddy interface, but later on you will receive an email from GoDaddy that they encountered errors ("This is the error we received: Command failed"). Have submitted a ticket with DAN already.

Thanks. I think this is why Dan added the TXT verification later on, as the verification nameserver may give issues.

The .de registry is very strict. You cannot submit nameservers if the domain is not present in the zone file beforehand.

I would definitely look into the way the verification server is set up as well. I encountered the same issue years ago with one of my own setups. To accomplish what you/np is trying to do you create a 'work around' which technically works but is not common/best practice, hence the issue.

While we're at it... What's the reason for using some obscure extension on the verification server? Its for redundancy obviously but there are better, less scammy looking, extensions. You know, just to convey some trust :)

It's not just GoDaddy btw. Some more obscure registrars will give the the same error/warning although they allow you to ignore the 'warning' and add the DNS server anyway.

Thanks for the information @branding - I agree. @Paul and @Quebec Tech Team are already looking into other verification methods, afaik.

With regard to being authoritative first for .de on the nameserver, I can say that NP is authoritative (aa bit set) for just any domain, just like DAN is doing, and a lot of others as well.

With regard to choosing the *.is extension, @Paul can tell more about that.
