.us What's more $ .us or .biz

Newbie... so if you had a choice to list a domain name under .us or .biz which one is worth more and if it depends on what it is, what is the general criteria for that. I was reading a post where it was stated that .us are currently very high for three letter/number, one word, dictionary words and premium two/three word combinations..is that also true for .biz?? Thank you....

I think .us is better than the .biz for almost any type of name. if the name is a term that is known to be associated with the word business then it might be better to get the .biz but otherwise i think .us is better. .us market is heating up too.

imo both .us and .biz are the future. Thus far, .US has outpaced .biz in the big sales. Both have wide application though .US may have even broader appeal as it can be used for almost any imaginable word/phase aside from foreign locations. Conversely, .biz would be good for those in which English is common language.

I am dot US junkie,,,So .us is my choice... I like .biz ,Although i only own one,BarbecueSauce.biz.... I myself don't have much of dev for .biz...As it is strictly biz related.

Definetely .us.The reason is simple.A normal person from the street is seeing gamblers.us and gamblers.biz.His choice will be .us because he knows us is united states and it is more confident. Not everyone knows that biz = business.



You can register a .us name related to what ever you want.You cannot try to do this with the .biz if you are trying to fish the big end user.

I would definitely say .us for all the reasons listed above. .us represents an entire market, whereas .biz only really works in a few smaller niches, which means it is harder to find end users, or even resellers in some cases.
