.BIZ vs .US !!!

Which TLD is MORE "VALUABLE": .BIZ or .US???

.us is only for american residents, though not strictly enforced. But I dont know what are the risks in buying

I own refi.biz. I spent considerable money advertising it in the newspaper, by direct marketing, and on the Internet as a mortgage refinance website. I even had the domain printed up on hats and t-shirts.

I ended up spending most of my time explaining to the insecure borrowers what a dot-biz was. I generated zero revenue from the domain but had plenty of write-offs at tax time. Refi.biz was my webvan.

I'm sorry this went badly for you, but I think it also would have been hard to find a reg fee dot com as an alternative.

I think it is hard to say which will be more valuable, most end users will only know about both of these extensions after some time, maybe another 10 years.

They are kinda equal, but really depends. If you have a nice businessname.biz, then it can be worth a lot, but is it blabla.biz, then it is probably worth lower. Same for the .us, but most people don't just use them for US websites now.

I saw lots of corp, biz partners adopt .biz as their website all over the world, but hardly see any .us company outside america.

Maybe there are many good .us domain sales, but what I have seen is more and more .biz company are running.

IMO, .us is not the rival of .biz, not now, not in future.

True - comparing these in terms of use is like apples and pears.

One is a global TLD and one is a country TLD.

.us is likely to produce a greater long-term ROI, however

.biz is definately more valuable, but I personally think .us has a better zing, and I like them more.

there are a few .biz names that are absolutely prima but most of the surrounding territory is a bit of a wasteland. I have 2 which I am very very happy to have right now......
