Dot US by far imo.... .biz has good uses..but only for business sites...Dot US is flexable.

Just look at the big board.

.biz still has more names available, so your better short term play might be there, but .us has the more "proven" sales potential, even on somewhat weaker names.

.US

No interest in the extension because I'm not from the US but it is definately better.

Exactly. No doubt.

.US has come a long way, but still far from it's true potential. I would choose .US over .Biz in most cases, but I'm an American living in America. :)

.BIZ is still asleep, and is overlooked by most speculators, but it might wake-up one day. It's a global extension and has already had some mild success in other countries.

For some reason i love the .biz however i do think .us is better. Ive owned arcades under both and traffic neraly the same, so who knows.

.US any day. Then again, I'm a big fan of the extension. ;)

I'm guessing (hoping) that it will come out from under the bed sometime in the near future. I do have faith in the extension, and am willing to invest in it (I currently hold about 20 LLL.biz domains)...but .biz is certainly slower in gaining acceptance than I would like. ;)

I wouldn't say it's dead. Maybe a little stagnant, but not dead. As a global TLD, it's got a lot of future potential. I think it's a toddler waiting to grow up. It is last in the gTLD lot, but keywords and generics will have value over reg fee. I don't sell as many or at the same prices as other extensions, but I do personally continue to have some profitable sales in .biz.

Biz is not as versatile for names as .us, but also doesn't have the US nexus requirements or US localization connotations that .us does.

.US is way stronger for most names on a straight sales price basis. If you want to buy for reg fee to sell 3 years from now, .biz has more opportunties, as .us and .info are getting harder to find at reg fee or even low drop auction prices.

Thanks guys!
I meant "more valuable" in the long run...to clear my question up ;)

P.S. And .Info would be the most valuable of the three, right?

.US is currently perceived as more valuable. Both are fairly comparable and fit a niche. Use and value gradually increasing for both as .com's get gone.

GOLD.biz - One of my best names ever (imho) was a .BIZ

I think if the extension ever does wake-up, that name could be worth 10X the 3K I sold it for.

^Carlton^ owns California.biz, one of the rare state names. I would LOVE to have that.

I've said it before, but I'll repeat it here to make myself feel better ;)

It depends on if we keep seeing ads like 54.runningmyown.biz on late night TV (akin to the .ws fiasco) or if it really does catch on.

Right now, to me, .biz just says "too cheap for .com", and is synonymous with "stay away from me".

Yet again, that association does not have to stay tied forever, but for now...

I think .info is the best of the 3 since its global and .biz dont usually sell for very much. None of the 3 extensions are mainstream or popular though. Most of the general public even in the U.S. wont know what a .us is.

Yes it was a little dramatic :D .

I just can't see it moving anywhere fast. Then again, my first LLL was a .biz. I was able to double my money on that domain in a week which got me into the whole LLL thing in the first place. God bless .biz !!

There is never a definitive answer to which is more valuable between .biz .us and .info. It depends which fits the extension, where the buyer is located, what TLD's are available and at what asking prices, and other factors as well. In very general and average terms, I'd say the order would be .info .us and then .biz.
