Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I got one too - VRTeleport(.)com
I see Teleport)er)s) as a Keyword by itself, but only works well with other words that fit the concept.
Same goes for Holodeck. After all, the word was created in the future thinking of VR.
I bought a lot of Sci-Fi type names when I started buying VR domains.
Sci-Fi normally represents things we aspire to do, and in VR, and you can at least pretend very well you are doing them.

edit: And yes I have replicator names to ! (3d printing)

But, I was so disappointed in myself when I waited to long for TeleporterTours since that name just nails
virtual tourism like no other name can. Had it on my short list in Dec. A end user bought it and put it to use several months ago. But I have recently cleaned-up my short list and purchased many of the strongest that were in there. I do still see some good ones around though.

VirtualGoldCoins.com
VirtualPassports.com
SaturnVR.com
GenerationVR.com
GymnasticsVR.com
SwimmingVR.com
VRGymnastics.com

Interested in some opinions on the domains (apart from virtualmalls.com which I have a great feeling about).
What do you guys think, which stand out etc.?

I recently acquired vrvidiot.com
definition of "vidiot" on thefreedictionary.com:
"
vidiot
-An undiscriminating viewer of television or video recordings."

What do you think? Personally I think it sort of fits.

with all kinds of sales going on and all kinds of site names getting developed.. from 2k for VRdogfight keyword sale to placesVR at 3k$. this is anyone's game really.. with tons of potential and vr barely being like a newborn child with its entire life still ahead of it.. so theres good chance for any and all to make a buck. as long as you keep it to decent keyword, and best stick to one keyword.. not a string of them.. whether you do it with VR or virtual or virtualreality+kw should be secondary in the future imo. all can and imo will work. though I'm personally still giving upper hand in vlaue and popularity to VR versus the other two.. but.. that part is just my guess.. u can make your own on that one. like someone else recently gussed virtual over VR.

that being said.. a few of yours sound nice.. swimming.. gymnastics.. malls.. passports.. I myself hold VRpassport.com on which I hope to cash in bigger than many of my other names.. we had this talk bfore that singular have more value than plural, minus few exceptions.. and they always get picked up first.. but.. strong keywords like passport or mall or store or game etc.. always retain value in plural too. gl.

I like VirtualPassports alot,
SaturnVR and GenerationVR as brands.
And VrGymnastics is fairly good.
Not a bad lot if you did not overspend for them.

I think there will be quite a few apps with VR/GYM but hard to say what they will be called in the end.
Hard to do much exercise with the headgear but they keep'm on your head on a rollercoaster.
But for running on a treadmill, VR has to be tops to look at scenes other than the gym.

For the VR Gym thing I only have DromeVR (running-man-vr) & FitnessHolodeck.
Some More for virtual tourism...

Awesome post, thanks a lot for your input.
I'm in two minds about VR versus virtual, I like both overall, each to their own.

Cheers

Another really informative post, thanks for this.

VirtualMalls.com was the only one I spent big on and am happy to have done so.
Otherwise the others I didn't pay too much for them so all in all happy with the buys in terms of price.

The info on VR Gymnastics is much appreciated.

A lot of junk in traffic wise, even in bodis so i dont really pay attention to it unless there is something really out of the ordinary.

Had a few e-mails now on my:-

ROOy1

Intended for the .co guys.

I've just replied to 1 saying I'm not linked to .co, but yeah can see why .com is essential for companies, potential custom can easy be lost by not having the .com.
