Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Virtual reality heats up in China
The virtual reality (VR) market in China is expected to reach $860 million in 2016 and accelerate to $8.5 billion by 2020.
Rest: http://venturebeat.com/2016/07/03/virtual-reality-heats-up-in-china/
I read this earlier today. Enlightening numbers.
At the root of it is venture capital.
While those in the states and eu are lacking VC, the Chinese gov has just put up funding for it this year so it looks like a race is on. And many Co's are licking their chops now at the potential market over there. They actually have a good chance of being the heart of the new VR tech in less than 5 years unless something changes.
But we all lack content for all those users. Something that has to change in less than a year.
HTC started a $10B fund as well as others to promote/fund VR content creators, but I have a feeling more of it will be spent in China.

I think this month will also be pretty dead in sales (because of holiday season), similar to last month, probably in august the market will start waking up.

While I have had
VRteleporter & VRtransporter for about 3 years now, I decided to double down recently.
4Dteleporter & 4Dtransporter for the interactive variety of vrPODs hitting the market recently.

Perhaps you will see one at a mall near you this x-mas !

Nice one, I got an offer on my:-

gVwsL

In .com too last week, wasn’t a bad offer either ($1200), but because there was a game show that was quite popular called G4TV, it’s a name I believe too much in to sell for that.

Not counting chickens, but think it has potential to go down as my best reg in terms of end user$, here's hoping anyway

it is nice offer :D i would have been tempted to take it :p

Nice, congrats. Had to check after seeing this but unsurprisingly all the most obvious VR + animal .com combos seem to be gone.

Nah mate, I'll just hang on to it, as said its a name i believe in so have to go with your gut don't you?

4 letter VR domains are hot right now (mainly domainer to domainer sales) and are going for low xxxx and domainers buy them with 1 industry in mind ie:- the VRVG one can represent Video Games and the guy who owns it was looking for 6 figures last i heard, it can't represent much else though other than Video Games (major industry wise).

But i see 4 character domains names with a number '4' potentially opening more doors than many 4 letter domains due to the amount of industries they can represent, Ie:-

X6chT

Can stand for Music/Marketing/Media/Movies for(4) Virtual Reality.

They are perfect brandables really.

Teleportation and time machine type things sound like they might become massive in VR. How cool would it be to use VR to take you to almost literally anywhere? And actually feel like you are there.

FACEBOOK'S THREE STEPS TO VR TELEPORTATION

  • Creating virtual worlds that look just like the real world
  • Producing a convincing human interaction experience
  • Enabling users to design and explore their own virtual worlds
