Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

I don't know, we're all full of hope, but I don't see a traffic or request increase at my domains and the prices doesn't raise as well. A little bit dissapointing for me.

Keep the faith, @Godsrevenge... I'm getting pinged with inquiries about every-other day now on my VR names, but so far only on my strongest kw... (fashion/sport/etc.) and mostly from domainers... (I should add that my brokers at DNS are telling me they are getting a bunch of inquiries on VR as well...)

Give it some time and it will pick up... (And JMHO, but with the advent of Daydream, it may be a much shorter wait-time than we originally anticipated...)

I went ahead and regged DaydreamReviews dot com a couple days ago. Lots of development opportunities when DayDream VR picks up someday and almost Trademark proof since it's a review domain.

I thought about 4D names years ago, but passed because I wasn't sure about their prospects... I may have missed the boat on this vertical while I was chasing 3D names...

I do have one name, however, regged way back in 2007...

4D S*x (in king) [Hopefully if 4D hits, this name will bring me a little cheddar so I don't feel so bad about miscalculating 4D names value... )

Nice! I also regged 4DVRP**n dot com 2 months ago....almost regretfully. The only physical 4th dimension that I could imagine in that industry would be teledildonics. It's tricky to mix adult with 4D, because those two keywords haven't been mixed together before commercially, to my knowledge anyway

If that industry suddenly starts to use 4D to describe haptics then we're both prepared, I guess.....but I just don't see it happening to be honest

yes. I agree all depends on name as always. I alreasdy had to sell a bunch last year for lowish XXX to get renewal money.. just fellow domainer sales.. but vr domainers are intelligent. we want to pay $100 for a domain we think has 10x or more sale potential later.

Honestly, I agree with you completely and that's why I regged only the one 4D name... 4D and adult content is a super longshot... But if it takes off, WHOOPEE!!!!
