Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship

Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

ummm Immersive Virtual Real Estate?
That could work too. I was thinking that something related to TV, Movies and films would be a better fit. Since that is something that the masses can all enjoy. I was going for something like ESPN.

Once the television manufacters step their game up and become more app based I can see .TV becoming popular.

hey it's a 4L you can't go wrong! definitely bread and butter all day long.

I'd rather like yours better than my reg.

LREVR.com Luxury Real Estate Virtual Realty.com
VRLRE.com Virtual Reality Luxury Real Estate.com

or vacation rentals.

I've already been laughed at before for my other 5L.com's so those two will probably be not different reaction.

I like your ivre.tv better.

Thanks buddy. I think those would be a hard sell. Obviously its not dull because you have the right vision on how to use it. But the hard thing about this is getting someone else to see, utalise and pay for the vision you see. I got a crap ton of "DUDS" over here. lol. Just keep swining.

a lil nugget..... I think L+N.TV , L+NN.TV, L+NNN.TV will be great a great investment. There is a good amount available. I'll probably pick up a few tonight.

It's a gamble. But i can see how it has it's benefits. Especially in the VR appstore's. .TV isnt cheap though. It's $30 per year at godaddy. 2 good ones is enough in my opinion.

thee only gtld that I'd dabbled in is .BET and .PET got suckered into it. tried to even see if VR.bet and VR.pet was available. but of course Afilias reserved those and slapped a $3215 one time buy plus the renewals are the same each year as your buy price.

Ridiculous!! I'll PASS.

Registries should consider on renewals, else they make customers run away.

Curious on your thoughts - do you think vr is better at the beginning or end of a domain?

I like it at the begining, for example, vrgaming(dot)info, but I see alot of companies using it at the end instead.

Any thoughts?

Seems like brandname+vr.com would be good reason for it on end..i.e BlueVR where as VRGaming, the product/service verb on end.
Just my guess

In my opinion keyword + VR seems like it would hold more weight in the end since it would more than likely be used for a company. (possibly holds higher value. But it ha to be a killer name)

VR+Keyword seems more niche (possibly higher turnover rate)

There are more VR+keyword reported sales, so VR+keyword is popular.

You can still have VR at the beginning for a company/brandable name. I registered Vraies/.com & Vrainet/.com

Vrai in French means real or true. Vraies is the plural as in "they are real/true" Ils sont vraies. Starts with VR so I thought it was a no brainer, although Brandbucket and Brandroot rejected them. I'm holding on to them. I mean, come on, it has VR and AI in the name that means "real". How more virtual reality can you get?

That's given but if you have a strong keyword it will sell, I'm not expecting this to sell from xxx-xxxx range even if they don't sell it wont hurt me or anything its just a dollar per piece its a learning experience for me.
