Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

yes I think like you that it could be longer shot.. but you never know with VR I think tons of supriseing sales await us in years to come imo! I alredy saw enough suprise name sales to convince me of more of same in future!

bit better quality keyword than my recent vrmaintenance sale.. but so is the price I got for it... (150 ---> 450).

looks like sales/offrs picking up! especally for suprising/unspectular/average names.. going for unspectacular sale amounts (XXX).. good roi money for other future renewals! like I Said many times before.. a lot of room in VR for "suprise" sales.. ie: average names.. in the 3 figure ranges! I expect many more such sales reported in future from people! VR doesn't just have to always be about 4-5 figure and up sales! there are all kinds of lower quality but still relevant vr keywords around.. and all kinds of endusers with all kinds of budgets needing them! imo........
