Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

There is no reason to reg a TM'd name under any circumstances.
All it can do is cause you trouble.
If you are not going to do anything with them, why even bother?

yep.. that's top of the cream.. great aged domain for sure.
class apart. wouldn't buy it cheap for sure!
it was probably the first the+ domain in VR to be regged...
then came rest of them..

I was considering getting it as well but didn't want to own too many Keyword + Keyword VR domains.

I am in the middle of purchasing two (more expensive) VR domains at the moment so thought I better ease on the spending a little bit.

I have been getting a few offers on a VR + Keyword + Keyword domain that I already own so I thought I would take the chance with a few more if they made enough sense which I personally felt "Movie Theater" & "Medical Training" did.

Totally agree that Live experiences will be in demand but not sure the terms Live and VR together makes sense. VR is VR, LiveVR is VR, however Live360 is loosely VR but not quite.

I've regged a few Live360+Sports Domains and had a few lowball offers already on Flippa so hoping the UEFA Champions League Cup Final on the 3rd June being broadcasted in Live 360 will raise awareness.

I quote BT Consumer CEO John Petter who said. ”We’re excited to be broadcasting what we believe to be the biggest multi-camera live 360° sporting event ever for the first time to our customers.”

Personally, I can't wait until the 3rd June to watch it. Massive leap for VR if it's successful. I just hope there's an improvement in quality as the 360 Football footage I've seen so far has been very blurry.

The difference between live 360 video and live VR 'will be' that with live VR you will feel like you are actually there, in the live VR (broadcast/streamed) environment, and will be able to interact with others. I say 'will be' as this is not necessarily the case right now but what I believe will be the future. Live 360 video just describes live streaming / watching the video, not taking part in.

Not all VR is live VR, in that the environment will be pre-made, pre-designed, pre-recorded but with live VR the environment will be being broadcast live from somewhere else.

True VR / Real VR I guess will be pre-recorded but of real environments.

I already know story telling is going to be freaking HUGE with VR. Like I am stoked! So I noticed a lot of "verbs" in front of VR. Im like Im pondering VR what would a good "verb" in front of VR be? It is no longer available! So I am literally still pondering VR. I get to thinking about the future of VR. I wish Name Pros allowed us to curse, and made it up to individual posters whether they wanted a filter or not. Why is that? Well in pondering the future of VR we know good and well that some "nut job" is going to come along and try to eff it up for everyone! There are soooooo many effing laws it is nuts. @Want2learn, IMHO, what you really want to "ponder" is the potential resale value of the names you are registering... For example, "ponder" + kw shows a sales history of two sales on namebio, both in the lowest $$$ range. I urge you to "ponder" if this hand-reg is the best use of your reg money, vs. shopping the aftermarket or sifting thru drop lists... (I've recently dropped MUCH better names... ) Remember, you always want to think about the "business case" for the domains you reg. and the rationale for why someone would actually want to purchase the domain. (Unless, of course, you're purchasing for your own development purposes...) At any rate, I think this is the real "VR reform" you should be looking into... (Above said, here's wishing you best of luck in your future domaining endeavors...)
