Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Haven't sold any VR names in a while, but really haven't tried either. To cut back on large port domaining I manually deleted nearly 50% of my names, most of which were VR related names. I kept a few, one of which is lenses vr.

Whatever you do, keep lensesVR the other way around would be best, but it still has good value IMO.

Ving takes the next step in VR: Guided tours in Facebook Spaces

A few weeks ago, the travel agency Ving (Thomas Cook Northern Europe) introduced a new feature; Facebook Spaces, letting a group of people meet and interact in a virtual world. Having launched this pilot project in record time, the tour operator is now able to display some of their resorts and hotel in a new and creative manner.

Facebook Spaces is a venue where you can meet your friends in VR (Virtual Reality). In this VR world, you can socialize, show 360-images and movies, draw, take selfies and much more.

Jonas Carlson Almqvist, at Ving, has been working with what is termed "immersive media" since the nineties.

- Finally, you can experience 360-movies and images together with other people, and this is just the beginning. In the near future you will be able to communicate and share your experiences with others, according to Jonas Carlson Almqvist, Senior Web Developer at Ving/Thomas Cook.

Facebook Spaces is, at present, a beta version. But as Ving acknowledges the potential in displaying resorts and hotels, a test project has been launched. Movies have been produced to show some of Ving’s destinations and hotels, among them the ever popular Alcudia on Mallorca, as well as the Greek island of Lefkas. Also shown is one of the most popular family resorts: Sunwing Fañabé Beach on Teneriffa.

yes very nice keyword REPAIR.. though personally am no fan of double Rs.. I own maybe one domain with double R. just a personal dislike. but it applies for many people to all domaining niches.. not just VR.. that double lettering is preferably avoided.

so I will not say this time great sale for buyer... early into VR as it is.. instead I'll say nice sale for seller!

VRepair.com imo would fetch few times this amount.. at this stage.

I think for the right keyword... thevr+kw has potential..
imo thevrcompany is particulary nice fit ... so are few more..
the bad news is.. all the right keywords are pretty mcuh gone by now

but I do know a few people on here who have nice thevrkw domains.. such as example thevrstore... so I am sure they already got some offers too.. maybe even some 1k up ones.. that they decided to decline..

Experts for each repair would be videoed in VR and brought to viewer for each basic repair, with a link click. Expert gets a cut for each showing. Web owner get paid by ads. More detailed jobs could be small charge for viewing the VR repair video. Wish I bought it.
