Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

You can see how VR can make a massive difference in education. ... The Body VR is creating educational virtual reality content serving higher education.

I own VREducational.com ehh woulda liked to get EducationalVR.com instead. but I'm late to the game.

Consider aftermarket purchases instead of lot's of hand regs, less renewals and better quality

I was wondering what Microsoft might be able to utilize within it's existing system for VR/AR,
I did not have to think long about that... SKYPE makes a excellent platform for virtual rooms.
...
4KVRHMD - 4KHMD .coms
I would be careful with 4K and hardware. It's a bit of a mix-up in consumer minds.
To get a 4K image on a HMD displayed, you need a over 20k wide video image/stream.
(not going to happen anytime soon) It's more than 6x the bandwidth required for a 4K TV.
A 4K wide video stream will display about a 640P image in a HMD. Till we get a wider FOV.
It's still worth the bet to see where it lands.
VR4K (not sure but the rev may play better, but still pretty good)

4K Headsets, ‘Perfect’ Eye-Tracking, and ‘Augmented VR’: Oculus’ Abrash Predicts VR in 2021

Oculus Chief Scientist Michael Abrash predicts dramatic improvements to field of view and resolution for VR headsets over the next five years among many other areas.

Screen resolutions are a hot topic in the VR and tech industry as a whole right now, especially with the introduction of new 4K ready games consoles like the PlayStation 4 Pro and Project Scorpio. High-end VR headsets currently utilize either 1080p or 2K displays, but Abrash predicts they’ll have shifted to 4K by 2021. That’s good news for those of us that find VR’s screen door effect distracting, though Abrash has previously stated that we’ll have to reach resolutions of 16K for VR to match our eyes.

Yes, That is exactly as I see it, a longer term play.
Edit: Most mobile vr will have 4K displays in the coming 18 months but computers will be unable to generate a 4K HMD image for a little while yet. Streaming 360 video is the easiest.
Does not stop the manufacturers from playing on the confusion.

3dvr - fr

I think the one who registered vr3d - fr has more chance to sell its domain as in France you read/speak with rv before 3d at the contrary of the English language.
More you also inverse vr (virtual reality) to rv (realite virtuelle)
So unfortunately i think that rv3d or vr3d will (both registered) have more chance to be sold :guilty:

The beauty is in the eye of the end-user and their target market they are marketing to.
