I think that you would be hard pressed to find a LLL.MOBI for under $50. I'm guessing that the minimum value of a LLL.MOBI is somewhere between $50-$150. What do other people think?

I've seen them selling on ebay for $129,$139 and $149...(actually sold)..so that seems to be the going price

~$125 minimum, from what I'm seeing.

2 weeks ago they were selling for less than $20.

$125 converts to an increase greater than 650% in 2 weeks. Are you sure that it is that much. You're not getting confused about the sales of LLL.mobi domains with good letters?

I thought that the LLL.mobi domains with bad letters would be selling for closer to $70 or $80.

Whatever it is, it's a quality profit for such a short time passed...

I hope their value only goes up!

Wouldn't that be selling them at loss since with 2-years minimum the registration cost itself has been more than $20.

Currently around anywhere from $30K to $100 is what I have seen LLL.mobi go for.

Welcome to the LLL.mobi world, Vurg.

I know there have been some high sales on this forum, but the first flush of sales in this small part of the world doesn't mean too much. It looks like the Mobi hype is going to die down for a while (I do not know of any auction or other publicity planned).

There is a hard fact staring at Mobi owners in the short term - there are, as far as I know, no mobile devices yet on the market set up with .mobi as an option, much less as the default. The user would have to type it in manualy -- and then he has a few dozen place-holder sites to choose from.

So there is little publicity, little access and little content for the time being. Don't get me wrong, I have some .mobi names and I expect to see good values for them in the long term. But with over 10,000 names out there, plus the overhang of the 6000 name holder whose plans are unknown, some people are going to want to take their money off the table.

Didya know that this is the only domain name forum that has paid much attention to .mobi???

What is this about a 6,000 name holder? Could you elaborate?

thanks

EAT.mobi will probably go for $30K
DMV.mobi
MOD.mobi

3 letter words will go high. That is what I meant by premium .mobi's

The night after the TRAFFIC auction (where several .mobi names went for a lot of money) one or two persons bought the remaining LLL.mobis, a total of about 6000 names.

DMV = Department of Motor Vehicles.

RegisterDub.com and Whiz.in sell them for less than $20 for 2 years.

I don't have any LLL.mobi now. The only one I did have, I sold. I did buy a few .mobi today. My favourite is VURG.MOBI.

value of LLL mobi raise in short period, currently they are above $100

Like most non .com extensions, the values seem inflated. Most of the sales I see are people selling it to other domainers & not really much end user. The names are all brought up providing this false sense of value. I'll buy into the hype when I see that .mobi is well known & not just a bunch of names parked as usual.
