The update just came out the other day at 3character.com. It now has LLL.mobi at $175 minimum, an increase of $30 from a month ago.

I know that 3char is just a guide, etc, but it's nice to see the prices jump!

Go .mobi! :lala:

Any average price jump is great news. My belief is that the LLL .mobi market could really skyrocket when mobi gets famous.

Would this be the price for the worst LLL.mobi? I just don't see this kind of pricing right now for anything decent.

For you egnited this is like hearing the stock market went up 20% in one month. :)

The guide says
Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo)

So, yes, the pricing is for the worst letter combo. Although I find even that to be conservative. I haven't seen anything go for less than $200 for a while.

The guide also has $3450 for lll.com, which I also find to be very conservative.

They aren't even close on wholesale prices for L-L.mobi

Yeah, I noticed that...but then again, I personally haven't seen many L-L.mobi sales?

I've bought and sold some through email and PM. The current low end is ~$130 and I sold a decent one for mid $###.

Most L-L.mobi investors have +10 of them and aren't wanting to sell. You can still find some from resellers that bought one or two for the heck of it. IMO they will become very hard to come by in the next 12 months and the bottom prices will be $3**

The last 4000 (more or less) LLL.mobi were grabbed by one or two investors within a few hours of the Flowers.mobi sale, so the "worst" LLL.mobi do not really ever come on the market.

Thank me guys since I pushed the owner of the website to review that LLL.mobi price guide few days ago:

Hi Andrew,

I`m a regular reader of your useful website but would like to know how you can say that the average price of a LLL.mobi is just $145.

I`m trying to find some for cheap and keep offering everywhere at least $150 or $200 but it seems no one sells any for less than $300 !

And let`s not talk about good combinations... I have looking at the worst ones...

Please advice me where to buy one or 2 LLL.mobi for $145 each.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Lorenzo

RE: Hello Lorenzo,

Thanks for your email regarding the LLL.mobi.

LLL.mobi are quite an interesting character to value...as they are still new on the market and prices are all over the place (very little consistancy thus far). Considering the value of a name such as qxz.mobi (with all lower quality letters), related sales point to a value in the mid $1xx range. As of April 1, that price was $145, but I haven't reviewed the data for the coming revision yet.

LLL domains in the other extensions are, admittedly, much easier to price as their sales are more consistent and there are more published/public sales to reference.

I wish you good fortune in your search for LLL.mobi domains. They are going to be pretty hard to find as a large buyer (or group of buyers) bought them out very quickly and holds a significant number of the LLL.mobis (most of which are lesser quality combos).

In my personal opinion, I'd generally spend a little more to get premium letters right now, as their resale value is particularly stronger and the number of end-user buys on all premium letter domains has been fairly strong.

Thanks again for the inquiry Lorenzo. I do hope the guide will continue to be helpful to you in your domaining and I wish you good fortunes to come!

Thank you,
Andrew

One interesting phenomenon, would be if this/these individuals were to attempt to sell all 4k simultaneously -- they could do some damage to the market unbalancing supply/demand.

I doubt it. A buyer like that is not an idiot. He knew exactly was he was doing and how to get the best of it.

Let's just say, I've seen crazier things happen... Unstabilize the market intentionally and attempt to capitalize on the uncertainty.

LLL mobi's

I have faith that in a short period we may see LLL mobi's similar in value to LLL coms.

If dotmobi continues to gain acceptance, it'll eventually happen -- I think a 5 year timeframe would be realistic.

I sort of have this gut feel that the way things are going it may only take 2 to 3 years.

Do not forget that - be it 2 or 5 years - LLL.coms will increase greatly in value in that time, so it is a moving target.

If that happened several large investors would be on the phone with him immediately.
