Introducing the New Revolution in Domain Parking Services, where the clients actually matter this time around - Bodis.com.

That's right. We have negotiated the highest possible revenue share with third party ad providers, and out of this we are giving our clients a lifetime of 100% revenue.

Today is the beginning of CHANGE in the domain industry. Many of us are tired of all the domain parking programs that hone in most of what we should be receiving. The Revolution has STARTED.

As of right now, Bodis.com offers the following:

  • 100% Revenue Share
  • Search Engine Optimized Templates
  • Customizable html title, html description, and page title of templates
  • Customizable images for templates
  • Auto-optimizable and manually customizable keywords/urls for advertisements!
  • Simplistic and easy to use management interface
  • Customer support that cares about its clients
  • Customer support that responds within 1-2 days.
  • And more as the program progresses...

I am hoping the majority is happy with where we are heading in the domain industry, and that everybody here is happy to see Bodis.com. We will be working extensively on adding user suggestions and feedback into the parking service.

Hopefully we can make a difference in the industry.

Aside from this, I'd like to point out a few more things. The lifetime of 100% revenue share is applicable to anybody that applies within the next 1-2 years. The revenue share may decrease after that only for new clients. Right now Bodis, LLC has the budget to keep itself afoot with 100% revenue share for another 1-2 years time.

Enjoy the website and feel free to leave any feedback/comments in this thread.

Question 1. I have no idea. That question has been asked before but I don't think it's been answered.
Question 2. Matt says that if you sign up this year you will get 100% of the revenue for life. So you still have over 3 months to sign up.

GIL

thanks for clearing that up for me, i'm already signed up, signed up like 5 months ago :> earned a bit from this :>

but if they ever brought out something like YPN, adsense i would be the first to sign up :>

Phew long thread...

Applied yesterday still waiting approval.

Didn't see this addressed in the thread - how much text content can we pack in there? Is there a limit/maximum?

Meta description would be a nice addition for the extra seo kick it provides.

Gambling/adult are out - anything else? Typos - TM's(don't think I have any though but you can never be 100% sure anymore..)?

Thanks

Matt,

Thanks for the answer and clarification. I basically understand now.

How does eatingdisorders.com KNOW he has quality traffic? How will I know if any of my sites have quality traffic? What can I do to improve their quality traffic?
I think this is the crux of the matter and I'd love the answer to this. To say that quality traffic converts would imply that the revenue isn't computed until after a site is visited and the result is known. As far as I'm aware, that isn't possible here (revenue sharing rather than paid for the click).

Matt, can you clarify more without disclosing anything that you consider proprietary? For us running the domains, we'd like to improve our quality to improve our revenue. Without some form of metric, that's impossible. It would serve your needs and ours to improve the quality so if there were some tool (even a quality of click counter in the stats) then we'd have something to go by.

From the TOS:

TERMS & TERMINATION

All of the following terms and conditions must be adhered to and are legally binding immediately upon agreement.

* The Program reserves the right to terminate any agreement at their discretion at any time.
* Affiliate may not park any adult domain names with the program. Adult domain names are strictly prohibited.
* Affiliate may not use adult advertisements and links on non-adult domain names.

Nothing about gambling

5) In the next few days those that are bringing in quality traffic will see some great rise in revenue. Those that are bringing in spam traffic will obviously be suffering. :) But overall this should make many users happier. Obviously we want to promote those that are bringing in quality traffic.

Matt,

Do you know whether or not the item above will occur over a gradual amount of time?...or will it happen instantaniously?

In either case, what specific date/time that this will be happening...or has it already happened?

Quality traffic simply means that people are coming to your domain looking for something, and they are finding it there. Thus high potential to convert to a sale. What metrics he uses isn't really important. (unless they're flawed)

Here's a couple of factors I supect he'll be using as most of the other services do the same:

If your traffic is coming from china and they're clicking on links that say "buy realestate in denver", there is really no potential for a sale there. Thus you would have low quality traffic. (This metric would be advertiser demographic vs buyer location) Note that this same traffic could be high quality if you were running ads for something like "Get a job in a shoe factory" Traffic from china isn't absolutely without value. Its just not worth much to most advertisers on the other side of the world.

If you have 100 people visit your site and 99 of them leave without clicking on anything you are pretty much the definition of low quality. Given the example used before of EatingDisorders.com, if you are running ads for local clinics, support groups, related books ect, chances are people who visit would be clicking. If you're running ads for chocolate bars and escort services because they pay better theres a problem. (The metric here would be looking at visitor ctr)

If you have a domain like 1s9.com you are pretty much going to have low quality traffic. There is little chance that the people who visit your domain are all coming there for the same reason and you can target them with a specific ad. With a good name like eatingdisorders.com its all up to you whether you provide quality traffic by setting a good keyword or poor traffic by not doing so.

If you are using some gimmick to get people to go to your domain, then there is no question you have low quality traffic. This is true regardless of what the gimmick is. The people didn't go there and click on an ad because they were interested in buying that product. Your gimmick got them there. Thus the traffic is of low quality.

As for a measure of how good your quality score is, just look at your ctr. If you're getting 90% thats awesome. If you're getting 1% chances are you need to rethink your keword giving less thought to what pays well and more to what your visitors are really interested in.

Great Exlanation of "Quality Traffic"!

WOW, blaknite, that's a GREAT explanation of "quality traffic". Thanks so much for taking the time to post such an extensive definition. It is greatly appreciated.

I tried to give you Rep, but it would not let me. I guess I had done so once before. :hehe:

Awesome post...however how do you propose we do this?
Bodis has no provision to even provide 'search keywords' used by visitors.
Let alone any other stats to enable me to qualify 'interest', per se.

It'd be great but we all understand we need to wait a bit for this feature.
As long as the revenue is decent its nice, but I don't see how people achieve a 90% CTR unless its an extremely generic domain.

And if I had enough of those...

In reference to Quality Traffic. Lets say you have 80%CTR and say 10-15 clicks a day. How do you know if the person viewing the adds is buying anything or not. Is there any way for us to know ?

Nope you won't know.
But you will know when you see your stats. It seems quality traffic will get higher paid.

So you can assume if your getting alot of clicks and little revenue that the clicks are porbally not leading to sales or purchases.

I didn't get an answer (or can't find it) - does 'Visitors' stand for unique visitors or views?

There is no way we can state what Bodis means by quality traffic.

Parking is a voodoo magic that us domain mortals cannot understand. Imo parking companies are former magicans as they can do all these magic tricks but we are only amazed as we do not know the "how" they do them.

We can only speculate as to what Bodis means by "quality" traffic. It depends on what kind of deal he has worked out with his upstream provider. I am looking forward to this.

Maybe I am wrong but I think only bodis knows what quality means. Hope he doesn't get dissracted by the "new girl", lol.

Thks Matt

I'm slowly getting concerned here.
How is it possible that my revenue is working backwards?! I assume that your updates every 24 hrs, are stats updates AFTER click validation?
Let me state an example:
Monday Cumulative Revenue: $100
Friday Cumulative Revenue: $80

I'm seriously wondering where the decline comes in and why this decline is shown quite frequently after a lot more than 24hrs.

make sure when you filter stats, choose something other that "LAST UPDATE"
possible this is the rev per day not cumulative

Not sure I understand the drop, is it possible you are generating the report that has last 31 days as a default, because if that is it all the income from over 1 month ago drops off, so if 1 month ago you had a great day in earnings on the 32 day it drops from your total as the new day is added to your total

Yes it was talked about already in a seperate thread.

Select a date range for your stats. You have last 31 days enabled, that's why you are seeing the changes.

Hmm... don't see update for yesterday yet. Is it late? I only ask because I usually see it around 12:30 - 1:00 EST

peace,
Vik
