Introducing the New Revolution in Domain Parking Services, where the clients actually matter this time around - Bodis.com.

That's right. We have negotiated the highest possible revenue share with third party ad providers, and out of this we are giving our clients a lifetime of 100% revenue.

Today is the beginning of CHANGE in the domain industry. Many of us are tired of all the domain parking programs that hone in most of what we should be receiving. The Revolution has STARTED.

As of right now, Bodis.com offers the following:

  • 100% Revenue Share
  • Search Engine Optimized Templates
  • Customizable html title, html description, and page title of templates
  • Customizable images for templates
  • Auto-optimizable and manually customizable keywords/urls for advertisements!
  • Simplistic and easy to use management interface
  • Customer support that cares about its clients
  • Customer support that responds within 1-2 days.
  • And more as the program progresses...

I am hoping the majority is happy with where we are heading in the domain industry, and that everybody here is happy to see Bodis.com. We will be working extensively on adding user suggestions and feedback into the parking service.

Hopefully we can make a difference in the industry.

Aside from this, I'd like to point out a few more things. The lifetime of 100% revenue share is applicable to anybody that applies within the next 1-2 years. The revenue share may decrease after that only for new clients. Right now Bodis, LLC has the budget to keep itself afoot with 100% revenue share for another 1-2 years time.

Enjoy the website and feel free to leave any feedback/comments in this thread.

Hi Everyone,
Just stopped by to thank everyone for the support and wishes. Its great to see a community that really cares about a company and its owner. I promise to stay out of the saddle for a while and help Matt with Bodis. So any questions about payments and any other support issues you may have can be now forwarded to either [email protected] or [email protected]. You may see double replies for any questions that you have sent while I was out because I am reviewing all emails.

Thanks again for everything!

Glad you are OK. Makes you appreciate the little things - and it also makes you realize that friends and family is really all you have that truly matters.

I am eagerly waiting the release of v2. My earnings this month has gone from meager to nothing.

Yes, I'm also at an all-time low.

I assume v2 is undergoing final testing now. I'd like to hear more on how v2 is going to increase revenue. Will it still use the same upstream providers? Is revenue predicted to increase because of theories like a better landing page will attract more clicks...that sort of thing? Or is it that v2 will somehow start off in a better payout "bucket"?

The latest of the postings for v2 mentions a "late March" launch date, which means this week. Is that for real? If it's a "maybe" date, is there a target date that is concrete?

Will the change-over to v2 be automatic for domains already in v1? Will each domain need individual tweaking?

Thanks.

As long as the rev share is 100% - who would pay what money for referrals?
After the 100% rev share is dropped, then maybe it would make sense.
(Besides - as long as no new signups are allowed, it doesn't make sense either.)

have a question for Matt (I didn t ask much so far...):
when will get back some TARGETED ADS? since people is not that much interest to find about recipes or seo optimization in "shopping com, info com,
edmunds car etc"
This has been like that for a while, so that the experience of the visitor is poor (and so is the revenue).
I am sticking with a few names with Bodis but not adding anymore because of this.
Bodis potential and originality (adding customized keywords for ads) is completely vanified by the fact that all the ads are more or less the same for any keyword.
If Bodis 2 is just round the corner, and the targeting will change probably a bright future is ahead or viceversa; I know is a tough period for any parking company (and even more for domainers), but I had to throw it out of me...:tu:

Although it won't happen, it would be very interesting to see a list of the top 100 payouts by portfolio and by single domain each month...without listing the domains or other info, of course...just a list of dollar amounts from highest down.

Not sure I am understanding. New members are not eligible for 100%, that was an offer valid only for those that signed up last year. Once we open up the application process again, all those new members will not be at a 100% revenue share any longer. Therefore, if we were to have a referral affiliate program, we'd give you the % from the net revenue that we make from the member that you refered. So for example, if we offer the new member 90% revenue share, and you refered him, you'd get 5% of his/her net revenue. Therefore, we are still left with a good amount for our business.

Too many things to mention. And just too many things I can't mention. ;) It will be launched as soon as it is ready, but the day is very close.

Change-over will be automatic and I am sure everyone will be happy with it.

I asure you that we already tested with it, and ads will be MUCH more targetted. Our focus in v2 is on targetted ads, better conversions, better automatically selected keywords, therefore better CTR and better average CPC.

You mentioned info.com. Info.com is a very good arbitrage advertising company, and I am sure we have high conversions with them. It really doesn't matter if the advertisers are Info.com. People that click them, are taken to search results of their own, and they then find the site they are looking for through them. Usually the conversions are quite good with these companies.

Let me explain to you. If a visitor clicks on a link from BankofAmerica.com, the conversion only happens when the visitor either signs up for a credit card with BankofAmerica, an online account, etc. Usually the ads are a bit less targetted as well. Bank of America ads may show something like "Sign up for a free checking account today" for a keyword such as "online banking". But info.com instead may show an ad title "Online Banking" for keyword "online banking", so while CPC is probably lower from them, your CTR is better. Then, on top of that, I am assuming that all it takes to convert with Info.com is if a real person behind a computer clicks on one of their ad links that they display. You can imagine that the conversion rate with them is probably a lot better than BankofAmerica, because all it takes is a click on one of their links rather than signing up for a product/service.

I am sorry that I have not answered all questions. I honestly cannot answer them right now. It is not long until v2 is out. And I am sure everyone will be much happier with it. It is a lot more stable and concrete than what we have there now.

thank you for the prompt answer Matt. I am sure info.com is an excellent company; however if I have Italian domains people will not be to fond on clicking and ad with an english label... anyway I am looking forward for B2 and can t wait to load a couple of hundred of domains ;)
thanks again

Thought of all of that, gorlov, but only while moving outside the box and not parking in neutral. :) As far as I was concerned, and before Matt replied to this, his business model could well have included a good way for 100% revenue share and company income at the same time, if not now then later perhaps, in addition to the possibility of new sign-ups coming in at less than the 100% at some point. I think he may have even hinted at that in the past, although it's moot now that he's posted and his private business too if it's so. I may not be a member now, but "The New REVOLUTION..." has always struck me as meaning more than just the temporary 100% revenue share, and about thinking outside the box as much as possible for the benefit of all.

I just completed the Domain Name Wire Survey for 2008. When it got the the question of what parking companies you use, they had a long list of companies, including a few I had never heard of, but Bodis was not on the list. There is an "other" section, but you should talk to them about including you guys in the survey, Matt.

does bodis now allow adult domains, or do we have to wait until v2 comes out?

I bet we will see many new improvements when the new Bodis rolls out soon. Parking needs all the help it can get.

Thats a great analogy  Couldn't have put it better myself!

It sort of.. well.. leaves you hungry for more.

Nothing like a spicy picture for an adult name. :lala: Aparently it's to do with their upstream providers who obviously never watch MTV!
