Just found this site and i would say it's the first
BIG and well known , serious and earning BIG money company which built it's pure mobile site. Pure mobile means - no bullshit links to incompatible
content.
This site will expose MOBI more than ANY domain sales (T.R.A.F.F.I.C )
The siste name is PriceLine.mobi and it's MOBI version of Priceline.com
which is HUGE moneymaker.

It seems the site is much more popular in the USA than Canada where I live. USA Alexa Traffic ranked 406th in the world! Overall Alexa rank of 2236!

Terrific. I love priceline and use it all the time. I can't wait to see William Shatner promoting priceline.mobi.
Unfortunately you can't use priceline's name your own price feature on the mobile website, and they make you call them to book the hotel, so I wouldn't use it. But it does seem like a handy website.

the reason why they continue to use .com is they have branded themselves priceline.com instead of just priceline. I think it would be a smart corporate move to get away from the .com and just focus on the brand priceline IMHO.

Agreed. It's never a good idea to limit or box in a company like that.

Looks OK, but they also link the following from their main .COM homepage: :blink:
priceline.co.uk - priceline.com.hk - priceline.com.tw - priceline.com.sg

... so they seem to cover many the (extension) bases, IMHO.
If they make it more useful and user-friendly for those "on the go" AND ALSO promote it (and link it) in the .MOBI extension, this would be a nice addition to the "ecosystem", in my view! :music:
