I hope that this can clean itself up a bit to become more constructive and less pro vs anti.

Mark is a admin.. He is in charge of the forum as a whole, ultimately he does not like .mobi You should be contacting the forum leaders (Me or Allan) about this forum and suggesting anything.

Comments and suggestions duly noted. NP management is watching and discussing. iNod as the forum leader seems ready and willing to work towards improving things as well.

The .MOBI forum was established in the early days of .MOBI and a lot of good has come out of it since then. It really has become its own community within the greater community and I hate to see that come apart.

Let's work together and find some solutions.

Don't like what they're doing? Do it differently.

Look at boroughs.mobi.

Where is Brooklyn, NYC, Manhattan, Queens, and all the other big city mobi's?

It's in boroughs.mobi and Bway.mobi

Where are the maps, the directions, the trip planners, the stock market reports? It's in En-Route.mobi.

Where's LasVegas? LVH.mobi.

How about actually trying and using these on your cell. Amazing, isn't it.

Some great stuff happening on this forum. If I left some out I am sorry. Too much going on. Too many great designers and programmers.

Where is SanDiego.mobi? Where is Chicago.mobi? Where is NewOrleans.mobi? Where is LasAngeles.mobi? FortWorth.mobi?

They are in the soon to be released SDCA.mobi, Cubby.mobi, BourbonSt.mobi, and LAL.mobi, LALiving.mobi, and FWTX.mobi.

Where is mTLD? I haven't a clue. I have never asked.

Jeremy, you will be missed and it is a huge loss to NamePros. But to be honest, I'm not far away from making a similar decision. Please PM me if/when you find another place that is more constructive.

Wherever you guys decide to hang out kindly let me know. I'm thinking we should start a .mobi developers/investors forum... a think tank for the advancement of .mobi and our .mobis.

Jeff has agreed to take a vacation from the MOBI forum. iNod is already working on drafting new guidelines. NamePros management has been made aware of concerns and is supporting the new changes. The point has been made.

Before planning splinter groups, how about giving peace a chance? :hearts:

Certain debate topics keep coming up - they could be sticky too.

>mobi vs com (subdomains,autodetecting, etc)
>mobi default hotkeys, etc.
>mobi vs browsers, new technology, etc.

Agreed. Those would make excellent stickies, and remove most of the "problematic debates", as people could avoid those threads if they didn't want to here what naysayers have to say.

This may be off topic a little but.....Would a .mobi chat room be possible maybe for a set time durring the weekday or maybe just weekends? But it would have to be monitored I am sure. It may be a cool and "the first .mobi chatroom ever." Who knows, but it would defintly have to be monitored lol
