Greetings everyone

I have a buyer who purchased my site and used the BIN option.

We chatted for a bit on Skype and now he is ignoring me and hasn't paid the funds into Flippa.

I can't dispute the sale because in the Sale Area the only option thats clickable is "Pay Success Fee" all the other options, including Dispute sale is greyed out...

what recourse do I have and how to I go about sorting this out ?

@FlippaDomains, your advice would be highly appreciated.

Hey Goffee

Thanks mate...appreciate the assistance. I submitted a support ticket with them aswell and post this thread here too, hoping to get a speedy resolution either here or on Flippa Support. I tagged the official flippa account on my original post, he is normally on the ball and very helpful so I'm sure I will get a response here soon :)

Okay folks here is an update on this thread.

So to recap, basically I sold a site on Flippa and I was silly enough to transfer the domain over to the buyer in good faith after we had almost a 2 hour Skype chat.

After he hit the BIN button, he stalled me for a few days without making payment even after I had transferred the domain. He then requested that I activate Flippa Escrow. I contacted Flippa support for assistance on activating Flippa Escrow, I also contacted Kevin here on Namepro's for his assistance and this was sorted out in a flash. Was great to see how quickly and efficiently they sorted it out.

Then after Escrow was initiated the buyer was being a doucheb@g of note and continued to stall the entire process. Eventually Kevin suggested that I open a dispute, which I did. After the buyers time to reply had expired, Josh from Flippa Support sent the buyer a message insisting that he make payment immediately as the domain Whois clearly shows that he has taken ownership of the domain. The Flippa support guys also suspended the buyers account. Then in almost no time the buyer ended up making payment. So basically I was sitting in a situation where the buyer could have walked away with my domain and not paid me anything but fortunately the folks at Flippa stepped in and saved the day.

Thanks to Kevin and his team I didn't end up being out of pocket on this deal. The funds are now safely in my Paypal account

10 POINTS to Kevin and the Flippa support team as well as the Flippa escrow team.

Spot on mate, I honestly believe if Kevin and the rest of the folks at Flippa didn't step in and help then I would have been out of pocket.
