This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

Great sale!

It was actually 37 names at around $4 each. I remember miscounting the amount of domains posted.

That said, you deserve every bit of this sale for your honesty. I accidentally transferred you some brandbucket published domains and other domains not on the initial list. You notified me, and returned the domains promptly.
A great example of integrity :)

Now see if the .ca is available and sell them that too :)

Thanks mate :)

Just checked and looks like it was reg'd in 2014 - they most likely bought the .com from me :)

(2) 4 Letter .Coms
One began with (I) and the other an (E)
Both in the form of (VCCC)
$800 total

Generally I don't touch sales under xxxx. If they flowed like a brand name would have held out but figured $1300 in the first 9 days of the year for 3 random no flow 4 letter .coms makes sense as bought all 3 for low xx each couple years ago expired so ROI was good enough.

Don't usually post sales

sold one of my LLL.com via DNS contact page - closed via sedo escrow $45,000

1st offer $9k
responded with $45k
2nd offer $15k
responded with $45k
3rd offer $20k
responded with $45k

Buyer then imsged asking why the high price - a facetime call resulted in a sold at $45k went via sedo's ext domain escrow service.

Took around 10 days to close - I have a few others needing my attention on sedo closing at my $1888 pricing.

Cheers

via FaceTime it was pretty easy

I stick to a price and I don't move.. Otherwise looks like I myself have no discipline.

With a lll he knew it's worth and what the domain would mean for his brand.

He was a businessman and a very nice guy gonna stay connected with him that itself was worth it to me.

Im glad to announce my first sale for a name after I left Brandbucket.
Its a short made up brandable. I prefer not to mention it but its a 7 letter clear pronounceable one.
Sold for $2.2K via Afternic (I think the best promotion network is their premium one, as it has end users not only domainers like Sedo)!

My goal this year is to get more profit from my brandbucket names than I got with them in 2015.
Im glad I had this sale 48 hours after I officially finished my 30 days period with BB, so its a FANTASTIC start. Looking forward to more of this this year :P
Good luck everyone this year and hopefully next year I will be able to make it to Namescon!

@bazabizo
I think providing a BIN price is a must on Afternic Premium Network, is it right?
What about their commission percentage?

2
•••
Yes, you must have BIN to enter Premium Network. Commission is 20%

EDIT: You have to OPT-IN at your registrar. You will receive an e-mail from your registrar if/when your domain is out of "transfer lock" period

Yes you have to set a BIN and commission is 20% for the first 5K then 15% above.
BUT you DONT have to use their Nameservers, so I am getting some money from parking as well :)
It looks like a great year ahead my friends! Lets succeed!
