Just saw this and the 7.5% commissions stood out!. Nice to have another option.

Thanks,Ok - all set! We have now added watchlist functionality to our Marketplace. Adding a sale to your watchlist will result in our system emailing you upon changes to the sale. Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Is there the ability to click on a link to show you the list of watched domains as well?
Kudos. Amazing news.
I know you said visitor tracking analytics is out due to bot filtering. I wonder could you implement tracking on click interaction via buy now/more info buttons?
Sales are sales and those are what really matter, but when reevaluating renewals any extra guidance on user interest is useful info.
There has been so much talk about HugeDomains.com starting to offer payment plans, along with the sales increases this option presumably have brought them (as it significantly lowers the barrier to buying $X,XXX domains for end-users). As far as I know, NameSilo is the first fully-fledged domain sales marketplace to make this much-requested feature available to domainers.
The increase in the requirement of wire payment from $1000 to $5000, now allowing payments up to $5000 to be funded with PayPal, credit card and other popular payment processing methods definitively removes what was a significant restriction at the marketplace, as the wire payment option was not able to capitalize on impulse buys, caused more inconvenience to certain buyers, and could be a deterrent especially for overseas buyers. The new limit surely offers buyers convenience and the path of least resistance, and moreover, NameSilo’s payment options are now better than those of Afternic, where they require a wire for payments of $2500 and above, and in line with Sedo's, where they require a wire for payments on sales of $5000 and above.
These significant updates, combined with the already solid package offered by the marketplace, and a record low 7.5% commission fee, now makes the NS marketplace look like the most attractive domain marketplace out there. Will probably move my whole portfolio over to NS landing pages in time.
Great news and thank you for continuously improving you registrar and all the accompanying services you offer to domainers.
Man namesilo is stepping up i love it! I just wish you guys would work on the UI and Mobile friendly... its such a turn off for me, for some reason lol
But i might be making some domain switches soon to post some domains. I think you guys should keep the marketplace just under namesilo, it'll help you guys out in sales plus keep everything more organized.
Happy to see this!
Thanks - appreciate the feedback! Yes, we actually have a few ideas for click/activity-tracking that we have been playing around with. This is certainly very much on our radar.
I would like to ask what documents are needed regadring tax information:
"Marketplace Seller Terms
- Receiving payouts requires tax information. You will be prompted to provide tax information if you have not done so already prior to listing any domains for sale."
One thing I noticed after setting up a payment plan enabled domain listing is that the landing page looks the same as when there is no payment plan, and the payment plan is not featured in any way on the initial landing page:
Show attachment 47718
Only upon clicking on the “buy now” button is it this feature revealed. As such, the old landing pages seem to undersell this powerful new feature, since many potential buyers would just move on upon seeing an $X,XXX BIN price, rather than click on the buy now button and discover the payment plan option.
Adoption of the payment plan option would probably benefit a lot from the feature being made know front and center on the landing page, i.e.:
Show attachment 47719
Perhaps you can consider launching an additional payment-plan-oriented landing page, to augment your launch of this new feature? Or tweak the original landing page?
Yeah, we've actually already had a number of people contact us about this very issue... we'll have an update to the landing pages later today or tomorrow to highlight payment plan availability.
so... leasing options not possible for the free store sale landers, for domains outside of namesilo? let me know if I got that about right. thanks.
Yes, that is correct (for now!). Payment plans are separate from MarketSites, but will be shown on Marketplace landing pages later today or tomorrow.
thanks.. its a lot of words and I'd kinda like to know.. so let me make sure we're talking about same thing.. I was talking about the freestore you offer to people.. here is the pic of landing page I meant. can you say if you plan to add leasing options there and/or if at all possible for outside domains? thank you again
*Out of the current subject*
@namesilo Do you think to lower the 60 days duration of reselling in Marketplace?
Sometimes, we may have bargain deals on good domain names via expired/and or from a customer and it would sound nice if we list them again in a short time, maybe after 7 days for possible provision for the domains purchased from customer listings.
Payment plans are obviously not going to be available to domains at other registrars. That would extend far beyond the way their marketplace currently operates. There is no way for NameSilo to control those domains like they are able to do with in-house held domains. That’s why marketplaces like Sedo and Afternic are not implementing this feature, because the logistics of holding these domains at a bunch of different registrars while they are being paid for (or returning them to the owner, in case the buyer decides to stop paying) would be a huge headache. HugeDomains is able to do this because it all happens in-house at NameBright. And the same goes for the NameSilo marketplace.thanks.. its a lot of words and I'd kinda like to know.. so let me make sure we're talking about same thing.. Looks nice. Im going to have a closer look. What would really make me happy is if you would also implement the 60 day whois lock opt out feature
