If they can make transactions easy, safe, and secure, they'll do well. They just need to add a 'buy it now' sale type in addition to auction and 'make offer'.

Most end users know the domain name they want - they don't need all the category browsing that speculators do. Just point them to your sales page and make it easy (and cheap enough) to buy and you'll get a sale.

Transferring to NameSilo doesn't get so much effort, it worths for my opionion.

Hi. There is a Buy it Now option, but that is configurable by the Seller. If a Seller does not include a Buy it Now price, then the domain cannot be purchased right away. If the Seller does list a Buy it Now price, then the domain can be purchased immediately. Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. We do not currently permit listing domains not registered with us, but this is something that may change in the future.

Just a quick heads up with some feedback, for sake of ease I just uploaded them all with no reserve set, the lowball offers have started coming in, now when I attempt to add a reserve/min offer it's telling me I can't modify it because there has already been an offer.

Once an offer is countered/rejected the listings should be editable again so we can stop the lowball offers in future. Does this mean I have to cancel and relist everything that has bids/offers?

Thanks for the feedback. It is true that you currently cannot modify sales once a bid or offer has been submitted. I will pass along your feedback as I could see this being changed to allow for modification if all offers have been rejected.

Sorry for the confusion. The options for payout are account funds or PayPal. However, account funds can be retrieved via check so, in the end, sale proceeds can be paid via check after being deposited into account funds. We will see if we can find a better way to make this more clear. Thanks for the feedback.

Thx. That's good to know, there should always be some competition among the different marketplaces. 7.5% fees is great as well. For top domain names, this would be great.

What is not clear is if you can point your external domain names, the ones not with namesilo, to their nameservers like you do with Sedo?

@namesilo - Would be great if you could also add the option of selling only at a fixed price (no auction format), and then add some nice looking landing pages for BIN priced domains I know it's possible to forward the name to this, but it would be nicer to send type-in visitors to a clean (less cluttered) and professional looking landing page, with an obvious obvious "this domain is for sale" and a "Buy It Now" button.

Since I have most of my portfolio with NameSilo, and with the 7,5% commission fee, I'd definitively use your marketplace for selling BIN priced domains (over Sedo or DNS with escrow.com BIN button integration) if you could offer this function and a nice landing page to go with it.

I may have missed it - is there DNS / parking service like sedo uses where people going directly to a domain will be redirected to the namesilo sales page?

We do not currently have a "for sale" page, but that is something we will likely be adding. You can link to your sale using https://www.namesilo.com/marketplace/domain/DOMAINHERE where you replace "DOMAINHERE" with your domain.
