My favorite registrar. At $8.88 for .coms, they are one of the cheapest too. i just wish their whois gaurd were a bit cheaper. It is free for the first year, after that $2.88/ year

Never had reason to call on customer service, so I am not rating them on that.

Namecheap are great!

NameCheap are definitely one of the best. If not THE best.

Customer service - response times are a little slow at around 6 hours usually, not much of a problem though.
Interface is excellent and domains are always regged quickly.
They don't try and sell you additional services or try to force feed you other TLDs like GoDaddy does.

My only real problem is the lack of coupons/discounts. I understand they need to make a profit, and I usually use NameCheap for all my domains, but with GoDaddy special offers a domain costs <$5 compared to NameCheaps $7.99 (with coupon)

Unfortunately when you're broke, every penny counts. Even if they just had a special offer for bulk domain registrations, it'd be enough for me to use them every time.

Highly recommended.

Great registrar, i use them for 99% of my regs. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Excellent!

I've never had any issues or problems with NameCheap that I've had with other registrars. The DNS updates resolve incredibly quickly and I am able to do anything I'd ever want to do and more in the fully-featured control panel.

Best interface but not the cheapest

Almost all of my domains are at Namecheap. I think their interface is great - much better than their competitors, very easy to use. They have some nice features - have sold several domains on their marketplace. Prices are slightly higher than several other companies and they don't seem to have any discount vouchers anymore which is a bit of a down point. I've never had any need to contact their customer service department but I have heard that it may not be the best around - I can't comment on this though.. Anyway on the whole I highly recommend Namecheap

Currently the only registrar I've ever used and if it continues like this, it will stay so!
The prices are low, the site is easy to use and you get lots of features with every domain you purchase.
Nothing bad to say about them (yet).
