REQ-LOGO Logo for a Real Estate Website ($50)

Hey Everyone!

I need a logo for a new project.
The logo is for my website : bookyourdreamhome.com
I don’t think I need the “.com” in the logo.

Colors: I don’t really have a preference for color but please note that this logo will be used not only on the website, but also on business cards, letterheads, envelopes ,etc so please use colors that are compatible with print as well as web.

Prize - $50 USD via PayPal

SIZE/FORMAT - Vector (psd) so I can make changes in the future and use it in print and png files so I can start using it straight away with our website

Additional Information - The website will be a real estate information / consulting website catered to people looking to buy a new home and I want the logo to reflect that. I prefer a modern looking logo. It needs to look professional and should inspire trust.

I don’t like the generic real estate logos with plain houses/buildings in the logo.

These type of logos are a definite NO!

I will list some type of logos that I do like so you can get a clear idea of my taste


I realize the name is a little long ..and I am not sure if I want the words to be arranged in a single / double or triple line…feel free to play around with the word arrangements..I will comment what I like as I go.

As for your entries...I don't like the font used in the first logo and the word placement somehow feels off
The second one is pretty nice though ...but it looks a bit too similar to an already exisiting website thats pretty popular here in India (bookmyshow.com) ...maybe changing the letters will give a different feel to it?

Thanks for the submissions guys...here is my feedback
@DesignPros I don't really like the last concept brother. Of the 3 entries you have submitted I definitely liked the second the best. The last concept does not feel very elegant to me. I don't see myself using it on my business card and stationary. But I really appreciate all the effort you have put in and would love to see more concepts from you as your designs are very clean..and I really like that

@kraman.157 I am not a big fan of the first concept it doesn't look very modern to me... but I like your second concept..although I still don't see the connection between the name of the website and the crown...

@emsgrafics This is a fantastic entry..Of the 2 concepts I definitely prefer the first one as the door is a bit more prominent in it...I don't really like the shape of the door in the second concept. But I would request a few changes...can you reduce the size of the door in the first one to about the same proportion as the second concept? I think its a bit too big in the first...also for the text I would like to see the "dream home" bigger than "book your" and I wouldn't mind seeing a few color options..but this is definitely in the right direction

Hi sir,

I've tried to create something based on your requirements, and the icon is formed from a book shape, to illustrate the dream and the book part of the logo and the covers form some house walls along with the roof from the top of the word ~home~.

@bingbang the "book" in bookyourdreamhome stands for actually booking a home and not really a book...having said that the way you have placed the book on top of the word home ..makes it look like a house..which is looking nice..I'd like it better illustrated..the fonts are on point!

@sheryonline great concept. I like the key idea as it symbolizes getting possession of your home..having said that I am not a big fan of the moon unfortunately...maybe have something else in its place?

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, I understand that's a booking website, but I supposed that you have a book catalogue with all your houses and also the book gives a dream aspect to the logo, as there are tale books.

I will try to come back with a better idea.

@emsgrafics great revisions -- options no.1 and 3 are looking good.. but i prefer the color you used last time around. I think i like it better when the cloud is colored as opposed to having the same color as the background..overall definitely going in a positive direction

@iulia87 I can see what you are trying to do..but I am not a big fan of this concept. I don't really like the fonts either..sorry

@bingbang thanks for your attempt again..but just the star and windows does not look very appealing to me..sorry

@sheryonline this is great!..I don't like the light blue border on the key...but your logo on the top right is really good...I like that there is a window on the key but I feel because of the layout the font would get too small..also in the other logos I am not sure if I like the light blue border on the key..although I am not sure if its because of the color or because I just don't like that particular part of the design
overall its looking really good

this message is for all designers
I am seeing a lot of entries and I am really liking how the contest is shaping up. But except for the few early ones..almost all the logos are in blue or its variations ...and while I am liking the blue color I would like every one to experiment with different colors just to see how it would look..

@sheryonline just thought of something ...could you maybe have a few buildings instead of a house on the end of your key? ..since I will be promoting this website on urban areas..it might suit better..
