REQ-LOGO Logo for a travel/holiday website ($50)

Hey Everyone!

I have been following this design contest section for some time now and I feel there are some really good designers here. I need a logo done for a new website I am planning and I thought this would be the best place to get the logo done.

The logo is for my upcoming website 101holidays.in

One thing I wanted was that the “.in” in the logo be represented just below the logo. Similar to the image below

So it should be 101holidays INDIA / 101 holidays INDIA


Colors - I think it would be nice to have a logo with multiple colors to represent different places people can visit for holidays...but I am open to suggestions.

Prize - $50 USD via PayPal

Contest End Time - 17th August 2016

SIZE/FORMAT - Vector (psd) so we can make changes in the future and a large png so we can start using it straight away

Additional Info - I will be using this website to plan and arrange holidays for clients. I want the logo to have a modern but friendly and fun vibe to it. Think of it as a front end website to a travel agency. Hope that makes sense. The website is designed for people from India who want to travel outside of India.

These are the type of designs I usually like.They are not based on travel and you don’t need to copy any of them or base this logo on the below designs…these are just examples (from 99designs) to give you an idea of my taste

I am not a fan of gradients in the text. Doesn't seem modern to me..
Overall I do like your first logo a bit better than the second. can you make a version with non gradient text of the same color ? Also the 101 definitely looks nice inside that symbol maybe have that as part of the whole logo?
does that make sense?

@Mylene Delis I like what you have done with "101" looks really good. Not a fan of the font though. Also don't like the colors you used. Would love to see more options for this concept
