Hi all!

We’ve created this thread to make it easier to communicate with us here on Namepros, and we’ll also be posting regular updates on our offers and products. Please feel free to share any feedback and suggestions with us, or to let us know if there’s anything we can assist with.

We’d like to kick things off with an extension of our $7.99 .COM transfer sale, the code “COMTRANS4” has been extended until 23:59 PST on May 31, and there’s no limit on how many domains you can transfer using the code. Every month we have great prices on a wide selection of domains, and you can find a full list of our sales here:

We’re also excited to share that our CEO, Todd Han, will be hosting an AMA (Ask Me Anything) right here on Namepros in the near future, with more information on a date and time coming soon.

Any chance you can make an export function for the expired domains, or put the expired domains into a expired folder? Maybe there is already a way to do this and I'm missing something.

Thanks
You can download a list of your expired, inactive domains that have already been removed from your account here:

https://www.dynadot.com/account/domain/inactive.html

You would just need to click the download icon to the right of the column headers to download that list.

For domains that are still within their grace renewal period, you would need to manually add those to a folder currently, and can use the 'Expiring Domains' filter on the manage domains page to filter the domains by the month they expired. I will pass on a request to our team to have an 'Expired Domains' filter added, or an 'Expired Domains' folder automatically created to streamline the process however.

I am just trying to activate SedoMLS. It seems you have some connection issues with Sedo.
any maintenance is going on? Thanks for a dynadot thread.

You're welcome! We're not aware of any connectivity issues with Sedo currently, however domains sometimes can't be activated for a few reasons, for example if they were registered less than 60 days ago or were listed on Sedo some time ago. Usually removing the listing with Sedo and re-listing the domains allows SedoMLS to be activated.

If the domains were registered over 60 days ago and re-listing the domains doesn't help we can look into that further, we'd just need to ask you to PM us with your Dynadot username and the affected domain names.

Thanks for the quick reply and actually listening to your customers... something that is lacking in so many companies these days.

Usually removing the listing with Sedo and re-listing the domains allows SedoMLS to be activated.

I am second to this. Activating SedoMLS no more works. I just did everything as usual:

1) Located 100+ domains which were transferred-in to DynaDot on March, 31st (so they are all > 60 days old today).

2) Made sure that the domains do have BIN and correct registrar (DynaDot) listed withing Sedo account.

3) Submitted "Activate SedoMLS" request.

... and nothing. If Dynadot system was of opinion that the domains are new (< 60 days) - then this would be an expected behavior. However, it is definitely not the case. All domains are eligible. Above scenario always worked before. The issue does not seem to be domain-specific or account-specific, as @DNGear noticed the same problem, so @Dynadot can you check please what happens? Thanks a lot.

Best guess: Dynadot system messed up something with domain age(s) for domains transferred-in in March, which is why it does not show "approve sedomls" button.

Alternative guess: Something is wrong with Sedo-Dynadot connection, so the mls approval requests are never received by DynaDot.

P.S. I did not try to delete and re-add 100+ domains to Sedo... Each one has individual parking keywords correctly set. Doing it again = mission impossible!

Thank you for the information @tonyk2000 , I'm sorry to hear you're facing the same issue. We've escalated this to our engineering team for investigation, would it be possible to PM us with your Dynadot username and a list (or a few examples) of the domains affected to help the team identify the problem? Thank you.

Just wanted to say I was very impressed at the support I received today. There were a few domains not showing in my account after a mass push and I was able to immediately chat with someone. The person had the issue resolved in less than 5 minutes!

You're welcome! Our team have confirmed that we'll be adding an 'Expired Domains' filter to the 'Manage Domains' page to make exporting a list of your expired domains easier, so you should see that filter in the near future.

We've escalated this to our engineering team for investigation

I can confirm that SedoMLS activation is working again. Not sure what happened exactly and where, but my Sedo account manager emailed the following:

Our SedoMLS team informed me that we had an issue with some registrars regarding SSL.
But the issue was solved

Thank you Sedo and Dynadot (both, I guess!) for fixing this, please keep up the good work :)

I'm glad to hear you were able to confirm those, our team reached out to Sedo regarding the problem and found there was an issue with an SSL certificate used during the process. That's now been resolved and the confirmation requests for SedoMLS should be received correctly. You should now also be able to confirm your domains for SedoMLS @DNGear

In the emails that go out to let me know I've lost an auction (expired or otherwise), it would be really cool to include the price that the name ended up selling for.

We understand the demand for information on the closing prices of our auctions, however we're unable to share that unfortunately as we can't disclose any information relating to accounts other than your own.

@Dynadot It doesn't have to say who won the auction - I wasn't asking for that, I was suggesting that the notification email could display the amount that it ended up selling for. You already do share this information in your user dashboard when I log-in. I get an email saying I've lost an auction, then I can log-in and see the price it sold for. I was just suggesting that it would be nice to have that price displayed in the email, that's all.

We do show the current highest bid for auctions that are still ongoing, however the auctions would be removed from your account summary and 'auction bids' page when the auction ended. We would still class the final price as private information, as some auction users would not like us to share their purchase price if they're looking to re-sell the domain at a higher price.
